United States Senator/Rep.. = a license to steal.. and do other things..
I think it was Nigeria. Where he and Amb. Joe Wilson might've made some interesting contacts when they traipsed along with Clinton in the infamous Africa trip.
Does anyone doubt he'll be reelected ?
Well, that's where the $100,000.00 was supposed to go. Thing is, Jefferson lied about giving the bribe as he was supposed to do (illegally) and just pocketed the money on top of that.
As far as I know, the whereabout of the $10,000 is still in question.
I could be wrong.
I am jes' a-wonderin' when good solid Americans will have enough of all the William Jeffersons.
what ever happened to these two words?
term limits
Pelosi pushing charges against republicans being dirty? Look in the mirror there Mrs. Pelosi. Oh, sorry. I wouldn't look there if I were you and the way you look either.
Being a black democ'Rat' has distinct advantages when you're a congress critter. On the other hand if you're a white pubbie 'yo butt is grass and da law is the lawnmower.'
Allegedly it was sent to an African nation in order to get...
...to get a large share of a gazillion dollars if he helps to get the money out of the country. ;-)
He is nothing more that a common thief who belongs in jail.
IIRC, there was a recent thread with an article that mentioned that
Jefferson was suspected (or under investigation?) of something like
EIGHT other schemes.
I just tried searching, but can't seem to find that thread.
The Democrat demagogues were too busy chanting "Culture of Corruption" in front of CNN cameras.
NOT FUNNY!
But probably not untrue.
What we call corruption his constituency calls creative financing and doing business. He is actually being PRAISED
in some circles for trying to help third world countries.
Don't forget that in the land of Edwin( yeah hes a liar and a cheat and a scoundrel that's why we love him) Edwards, the
irony of real 'cold cash' in a freezer gets points for creativity!
I'm betting reelection in a landslide. 300,000 votes out of 180,000 at least.
