Minuteman Project THROWN OUT OF JOHN McCAIN's OFFICE -- After Action Report Part II
Self | June 4,2006 | The Spirit Of Allegiance (former screen name Blurblogger)

Posted on 06/04/2006 8:01:07 AM PDT by The Spirit Of Allegiance

Friday, May 12, I with about a dozen others in the Minuteman Project Caravan to Washington D.C. visited the offices of Senators offices on both sides of the 'Amnesty' issue. We first stopped by the office of Senator Jeff Sessions and expressed our GREAT APPRECIATION for his heroic fight against the Leftists and the compromised 'Conservatives' in the Senate. His staff was very pleased to host our group.

Then, we went to some that were not exactly heroes, at least not lately. As a group or individually, I also visited the offices of Frist, Feinstein, Brownback and a number of others.

I had the audacity to write in Senator Chuck Hagel's public Guest Book a written demand that he enforce the law and uphold the Constitution. Anyone who can verify my May 12 entry there--as a taxpayer very appropriately utilizing taxpayer-purchased materials--please feel free to do so. But I'll bet that particular book just winds up 'lost' or missing a page.

A photographer from The Washington Times was with us for the final several hundred miles along the Caravan. She photographed the Hagel guest book while we were in his office. I don't think the photo made it into print, however.

I made a similar entry in Senator John McCain's guest book that same day. Various members of the caravan were present. While I wrote, others politely but firmly insisted that Senator McCain uphold the U.S. Constitution. Although we were peaceful, the tall young man at the front desk probably pushed a hidden button, because without his phoning anyone, a dour, dark-haired woman looking to be in her 40s, with a silent man about the same age, came from behind varnished doors. She told us to leave immediately or we would be reported to the Capitol Police and arrested. Wow. So much for constituent free speech!

She had no name tag on. I asked her name but The Dour One refused to provide the information. I asked her title but she remained silent. If dirty looks could kill, there would have been a dozen Minuteman corpses! The silent man accompanying her seemed to be also mute--or ashamed of his name as well. We left. I WISH I had a photo of that, um, public servant. There was a private photo taken of the McCain guest book by our group; I hope to locate who took it.

The Dour One was not a junior aide, she was some sort of senior staffer for McCain. McCain would have wanted us treated exactly that way. Yes, constituents like us make it very inconvenient for humble public servants to arrogate their wishes upon a dumbed-down populace. And we intend to make it even harder for such dour parasitic lice as these to remain AS public servants.

People of Arizona, you need to send some people in for Sensitivity Training. Not as in sensitivity to my feelings. Sensitivity to what the whole McCain staff is going to need for their NEXT JOBS after we vote Treacherous Johnny out of office!

A recent FR poll asked whether I'd vote for McCain vs. Hillary for President. I didn't vote. I DO NOT TRUST THE MAN. And the way his staff treated us was exactly how I'd expect to be treated by a political enemy. I guess I am--because I expect anyone on a governmental payroll in the United States of America to be loyal to the U.S. Constitution, to say the Pledge of Allegiance and to defend this Country--not betray it. Mr. McCain, thanks for your past service, but you are now no friend of America, Sir.

Meanwhile, it is IMPERATIVE that true Conservatives not be dismayed or alienated from the GOP--we just need to weed out the untrustworthy RINOs and CINOs posing as Republicans. THAT is the solution, not being divided-and-conquered by Leftist friends like McCain!

Because truly ... "the [evil Marxist liberal socialist Democrat Party] alternative is unthinkable" -- Jim Robinson

McCain is sadly the same guy in bed with the banking scandal except now he carries water for the businesses who want to subsidize profits by hiring illegals that the public will pay for in services.

He is arrogant and will talk down to anyone who opposes him. Why would his staff be any different?

has the beltway made a person like john mccain so vain and out of touch with reality that he shuns and ignores the very people that control his future political destiny?
the answer is obvious.

the people will remember McCain's arrogance when he is running for president in 2008.

Missouri Primary will definitely say NO to McCain.

Oh and there is the questions remaining about the Keating Five......

I am surprised at such rude behavior! I honestly thought that John McCain would at least politely brush you off. To me this indicates a serious mental disorder, or inability to deal with cognitive dissonance on the part of John McCain. Such is more characteristic of our Democratic colleagues. How can anyone who behaves like that serve as representative of ALL the people, especially as President?

What in the story leads you to believe a "ruckus" was caused?
Sounds like the political opponents to McCain's surrender of our sovereignty were not welcome is all. Not surprising as McCain is trying to position himself as the great leader for President.

This illustration gives people a reason not to get behind his run for President.
Thus, the very unkind welcome.

Send a Letter to the Editor to every major newspaper in the state of Arizona with a description of how you were treated by RINO, McCain. Simultaneously, I would send the info to all the talk radio show hosts asking them to expose McCain's duplicity and describe how you were treated. Exposure is the only way to send him home to mow lawns or something meaningful for the rest of his life.

I'm actually not surprised at all. No one has run against him in the primaries in AZ for years. He talks out both sides of his mouth when he is hear and the local media (even one of the talk radio hosts) worship him. He does not listen to those he represents. He has even said he will vote the way he wants on things, no matter how many letters and phone calls he gets. A lady from AZ called her local office and it linked to Washington. Instead of just writing down her opinion and contact info., the woman who answered argued with her. Said it is our duty to pay taxes for illegals.

Yet, on the local news I saw a sound bite from John McCain where he said that we need to do something about it, since there are 11 million people who do not belong here. I almost think he's got multiple personality disorder.

It didn't sound like they were "causing a ruckus" and those offices are not "someone's" they belong to and are paid by We the People.....We have every right to be there.

We are already losing our hold on this Republic thanks to the likes of McCain....What's next? we won't be allowed to speak in their presence? must we avert our eyes and bow?

I don't think that the GOP will float McCain. If he runs, the door will be open for the Dims to take the presidency barring a good 3PC.

I have a hard time believing that McCain will be reelected in AZ in '10. In fact, I'd guess that if he were running this fall, he'd lose.

And don't forget that McCain treated the Viet Nam MIA families the same way! He doesn't want to be bothered with anything that gets in the way of his carefully concocted POW "heroics" and his modern day kowtowing to the communist regime. Clearly, McCain is only interested in gaining more power and covering up the reality of what did happen and IS happening to our country by our enemies from within.

Here is the plan to deal with McCain. Every time he come into your town he get greeted with the following. This should be good for all the other RINO's too. (Frist, etc.)
  1. Mariachi Music, The Mexican Nation Anthem and Mexican Hat Dance.
  2. Pinata with McCains Face. inside are the Campaign contributions from OBL Companies
  3. We can work on parodies of the Mexican Hat Dance (Republican Hat Dance, etc.)

Put on a good show and get the press to show up and give you lots of free press. I was hoping to try out parts of this but McCain canceled in San Diego.

Freepmail me if you want to have access to music and other resources.

That is not John McCains office, it is our office that he is currently occupying. Reading this I don't get the impression that these people were causing a disturbance. I do however sense a arrogance on the part of McCains staff, I thought our politicians should welcome opposing views in the arena of Ideas, not try to squelch them. The more glimpses I get into McCains true character the less I like .

Chief of Staff: Mark Salter
Scheduler: Ellen Cahill
Legislative Director: Ann Begeman
Communications Director: Eileen McMenamin

If it was Eileen McMenamin, you might be interested in knowing that she's married (yes married) to LA Times political writer, and CNN political analyst Ron Brownstein.

Here's a picture of McManamin (left) with Judy Woodruff and her husband Brownstein.

Almost wants to make me move to AZ just so I could vote against him. I called his office last week (along with the other 23 RINOS) and said I'd do everything I could to make sure he never makes it on the ballot in 08. He long ago used up his "Viet Nam/POW/war hero" capital. Ed Rollins even said that he and Frist just lost any chance they may have had in '08.
