The moderators will review and prioritize the questions and present them to Ms. Irey one at a time. No -- LOL!! It may be confusing though. She assumes the Marines are innocent until proven guilty -- which is as it should be. Murtha (the traitor) assumes they are guilty until someone proves them innocent. I think that's what I said??! Maybe I need more coffee?? He he he!

I'd like to know of her conversations with the Pennsylvania Republican Commitee.

Robert Gleason, the head of the Cambria Co. Republican Com., and newly appointed chair of the PA Republican Com., has voted for Murtha in the past. Is he going to lend his support to Irey? In the same vein, has she received any monetary support from the state repub com?

Seriesly, these folks have had a week off....and a LOT has happened while they haven't been there..

Like the debate over whether they are above the law, regarding searching their offices, (Americans are NOT happy with Congress about THEIR attitude)..

This Haditha thing has been the main topic (except for the Bikini strangler, of course)...

Now, the Marriage Amendment..

Oh, I heard Kerry is going to propose a bill making it LAW that the troops have to come home from Iraq this year ..LOL

The tension up on Capitol Hill this week, IMHO, is going to be very INTENSE, and give that, it makes for just the right atmosphere for pontificating...

I expect Kerry, Murtha, and possible others to make speeches regarding Haditha...

We need all freepers to be on the look out for them and report any speech that a Congresswienie makes regarding this..and post it.

2. The GOP has been very weak in getting their message out in a timely manner, often resulting in the media or the democrats controlling public perception of our message, what would you do/request that would help this marketing/PR gap on our side?

3. What is your opinion of the current immigration debate, specifically in using National Guard or other military branches in helping enforce the border? Do you feel this conflicts Ex Parte Milligan 71 US 2 1866 or the Posse Comitatus Act?

4. Regarding your opponent, he has been very outspoken against the military, going so far as to presume guilt based on faulty media reports in issues such as Hadithi, yet bases his qualifications on his own military record. At what point do you feel one's current actions and statements supersede one's past history?

First thanks for taking on the daunting task of unseating a sitting Representative-- incumbency is a powerful thing. I hope you win! My Questions:

1. Your opponent Rep. Murtha has made some very strong statements against our military men and women. In your opinion, what effect do these statements have on the morale of our fighting forces?

2. The enemies know that the only way to beat the US is to have us give up due to loss of popular support here at home. These enemies of our country watch our leaders very carefully to gauge how much chance they have in getting us to quit. Do you feel like the enemy is emboldened by the statements of Rep. Murtha and that his words give them hope that by continuing their acts of terrorism they will prevail?

3. Do you think that any of Rep. Murtha's statements are helping our country to win this War on Terror?

4. Do you think that Rep. Murtha's statements are harmful to the United States military and to our ability to fight and win this war?

5. Do you think Rep. Murtha's anti-military and anti-Bush war policy statements are consistent with the opinions and feelings of the people whom he represents in Pennsylvania?

6. Do the citizens living in the Congressional District want the United States to stay the course and win the battle that has been purchased with the lives of many brave men and women, or do they wish to abandon Iraq at this late stage, and effectively throw away the sacrifices made by many?

7. What are your thoughts on the size of the federal government? Is it too big, too little, or about right?

I have a question for Her: Are there any organized military groups( like the Swift Boat Veterans) that have formed to go after Murtha for his slander of the troops, like they went after Kerry for his lies? If so, will they be working actively everywhere Murtha is holding rallies and fund-raisers?
