...concealing the 6ft wings after landing could prove harder than burying a traditional parachute. Hmmm...tough problem....thinking...Oooh, I've got it!
Seeds can be embedded in the carbon fiber, and with watering and special forces Miracle Grow it will blend in as a Chia wing.

What's next? Wing mounted hellfire missiles?
Maybe - although they would have to fire off two at the same time, one under each wing, otherwise they poor guy would spin like a top for the next twenty minutes or so.

Or this: The strap-on device is excellent for pre-dawn insertions- particularly handy for rear guard action.

I saw that yesterday; looks like Darwinism waiting to happen, to me.

Use caution. People have been shown to wake with their underwear on backwards and a quarter in their hand.

Skydivers have been using Wingsuits for years, so this is just the next logical extension.

They're gonna glide 120 miles, at night, with VFR. They're crazy.... :) Well of course they are.
Being crazy is a SF MOS requirement.
Crazy is relative though, I'm sure they consider the chair-borne types as nuts.

Your reasoning is all askew. Zooming in at 220 and chuting in at 20-35 at the last minute is a helluva lot less of a turkey shoot than the previous method of floating in at 20-35 alone.
With this system, the dropper's most vulnerable moments are still going to be while chuting in, but that time is now greatly minimized. This is huge progress.

One of you have got to get a set of these. Maybe with a tether attached to the pickup and enough speed...

Now all they need are two of these on the wingtips .. .
Weight : 3.5 pounds
Thrust : 35 pounds
Fuel Consumption : 17.5 oz/min

Now all they need are two of these on the wingtips .. . This is where the "120 miles" is coming from. Small model aircraft turbojets would enable the range to go from 30 miles to over 100.
