This is a crazy turn of events for KFBK. Not only was Williams famous for his support of the military, but many of us in No Cal will remember him for his early and dedicated support of the 2000 election protests at the state capital where Mark broadcast live -- when conservative protests were a new and untried ground. In fact, his program intro was a recording of one of those demonstrations.

I agree. He was great in 2004 as well - he really ticked off Arnie and Bustamonte. I loved when he played the roaming reporter at pro-illegal protest, where he would interview illegal aliens on the street and call them criminals. His trip to Iraq along with all the other appearances he did for the troops - what a guy!
