"Well, the hat certainly kept the sun off his head..."

Yes, black felt is widely known for it's sun reflective properties.

Okay, you didn't like his hat.

What'd you think of the speech?

Gosh, let's just throw the man aside, then. Criminy! If he doesn't wear headgear you can approve of, he isn't worthy of mention!

By the way, Chief, what'd you think of the substance of the speech?

Not as bad as his reparations horse dung.

It's not even that I didn't like his hat, just saying that he had a definite Gucci Cowboy look and there's nothing wrong with being reminded of Cleavon Little when you see a black man sporting a Gucci Cowboy look (when it's a white guy you get reminded of Urban Cowboy, had Urban Cowboy not been made all Gucci Cowboys would remind us of Blazing Saddles).

As for the speech, typical Keyes, some good stuff, some pointlessly deliberately inflamatory stuff, and lots stuff that's just stuff making the speech probably overly long.

Don't pee on my back and tell me it's raining. Keyes saw that he had NO chance in Illinois without some of the black vote and he went all in with reparations. Even the blacks saw he was full of crap.

Even the blacks? Are you saying that white people are better at determining one's honesty?

What is your opinion of the Bush amnesty horse dung?

Do you appreciate the fact that this administration refuses to enforce our immigration laws?

"What is your opinion of the Bush amnesty horse dung?"

My opinion is that people who wear black felt hats in the hot sun might suffer from permanent brain damage. For instance, there are people who call everything amnesty.

So, which is this?

And right now as America faces what I think is the greatest crisis of our institution in its history, across the board, one of the most important examples of that crisis is right here. When a country loses the will to defend its borders, when a country loses the will to assert its identity, when a country loses the will to stand in defense of its way of life, that country is doomed. And I think all of us have to be fearful, if you listen to what's coming out of Washington and coming from our president, and so forth, that we are hearing the confirming echoes of that doom coming down the corridors of our present and the future that we should be leaving our children and our grandchildren.

Now, I'm here to tell you right now that however we may sometimes feel discouraged, that however we may sometimes think that there is no hope, you need to remember that when we pray to God for a blessing, you have come forward to be the answer. You have come forward to be the defenders.

You have come forward to be the examples of the American spirit that built this country and will defend its future.

I see you're determined to make this all personal pettiness, all the time.

Is it not amnesty to forgive and even reward those who have broken our immigration laws? Or are you using a Democrat dictionary these days, too?

You mean like the way Tancredo attacked a very good plan offered by Congressman Mike Pence? He called it amnesty also. Does Tom Terrific wear black felt hats out in the hot sun also?

Mike Pence is on record as calling Bush's plan "amnesty".

Yes he is, but Mike Pence has actually demonstrated that he calmly and rationally looks at things before speaking. On the flip side, the word amnesty has been sooooooooo overused here on FR it's become almost meaningless.

Just look at the whole Bilbray thing. He ran on a hardline illegals platform, and was opposed by someone else who was endorsed by the minutemen because Bilbray wasn't hardline enough, and now people are calling it a victory for the hardline immigration platform. Which one? The hardliners, or the hard-hardliners?

Anymore the word amnesty is like the word conserative...perhaps we need to start calling it "amnesty", "real amnesty" and "true amnesty".

I find it amusing how enamored you and your FR RINO compadres are with Brian Bilbray, pro-abort and board member of the Log Cabin Republicans.

His presence once again in the House is hardly a victory for our free republic.

So, a few independent-minded Minutemen supported the independent. What a shock.

You should be glad the rest of us just ignored the race and concentrated our efforts elsewhere. It wouldn't have been hard at all, if we had wanted to, to have doubled or tripled the independent's vote totals. If that had been our goal, they'd be swearing in Busby.

If y'all keep up the abuse of conservatives, maybe we will change our minds...

Take that black felt cowboy hat off and get out of the sun... I don't seem to recall anyone being enamored with Bilbray. For me, I'm just highly entertained by that whole race.

"If y'all keep up the abuse of conservatives, maybe we will change our minds..."

Ah, go ahead and put the hat back on and step out in the sun...it's too late.

My desert hat is brown.

Of course, you'll find a reason to criticize that.

You're majorin' in the minors, Chief.

I'm so glad your "desert hat" is brown. Strange you weren't aware of the properties of black felt under a hot sun...and also laughed your butt off at the drugstore cowboy get up.

"RINOs whine about the color of hats while their heroes let the country be overrun by illegals."

Just figuring out how to label the file...

That's kinda long, though...hmmm...

"Extreme RINO pettiness and misdirection."

There, that should work...

LOL! Call it sun stroke...from being so damned dumb as to wear black felt in the desert sun.

Call it heat exhaustion, for calling the dummie a hero.
