My guess is that Hugh Hewitt and Laura Ingraham, good conservatives, have it exactly right. Ann's comments are disgusting.
"Assemblywomen Joan M. Quigley, D-Hudson, and Linda Stender, D-Union, on Thursday called on New Jerseyans to stop buying the book, "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," and for retailers in the state to stop selling it."
Good luck, assemblywoman! You just put sales off the charts! It is hilarious when Democrats have to react to the truth! They go absolutely nuts! Of course Assemblywoman Joan M. Quigley supports freedom of speech as long as the speech supports her leftist socialist revolutionary agenda!
Actually, I wasn't going to buy this---I'm a little tiffed (yes, petty and jealous) that she's getting all this attention that I would like to have for "America's Victories," but if they are calling for a boycott, then my Amazon order is in.
Ah, yes. The children. It's always for the children
Well, I WAS going to wait for the paperback, but not now.
Perhaps they should have thought about that before they agreed to become shills of the anti-war Left. They have said the most vicious things about President Bush, including repeating the slander that he allowed 9/11 to happen for his own purposes.
Once you cross a line like that, you're fair game. If you don't want your children to hear nasty things about you in the press, don't cross that line.
But this business of the Left using spokesmen who cannot be countered because they are "untouchable" has to end. Coulter is practicing the time-honored technique of finding the biggest bully in a bar and punching him square in the nose. She'll be in for a heck of a fight, but people will give her some room at the bar.
What about the children of our troops that the left villifies every chance they get?
This is inconvenient. Now I have to go out of my way so I can buy my copy specifically in Jersey.
Complete tolerance for me, and none for thee.
"Assemblywomen Joan M. Quigley, D-Hudson, and Linda Stender, D-Union,"
These are members of the GODLESS party Coulter was writing about ..
This is AMERICA and people have the right to speak their minds, and you have the right not to buy her book.
Which part of my post made you think I didn't understand that? And just as we have those rights you needlessly listed, I have the right to post my opinion here. And I 'm pleased as can be that it's an opinion shared by Hugh Hewitt and Laura Ingraham.
oh, satire! ah...should have known....i remember we had that 'satire' (a liberal book, just can't remember offhand) knocking the president and concervatives and it was the darling of the MSM...
IF YOU'RE CATCHING FLAK, YOU'RE OVER THE TARGET
So now you want to get into the gutter with the left and hurt children? No thanks.
Big deal.
It's not like her or anybody she knows would read a book.
Any book.
I normally don't buy these types of books but I guess I'll have to break down and get this one just for the sake of shoving it in the faces of the "jersey girls". It was their decision to go political during the last election and during the 9/11 Commission hearings -- now they can't take the heat. What was that phrase again?.... Oh -- I'm ashamed they're from my state.
She also wrote, "I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much."
it would ne more accurate and unassailable if it read:
"I've never seen people enjoying [the fruits of] their husbands' deaths so much."
This call for boycot will boost Coulters sales..
I better go out and get my copy quick, before it's banned! Maybe I'll pick up two, since it will surely be a collector's item. And one more to burn down at the town square, just to show I am a good citizen.
TO DO LIST:
1. Buy 3 copies of GODLESS...
