I was watching CNN, waiting for Ann Coulter's guest appearance on Lou Dobbs show.

Every news segment on CNN about Zarqawi was under the constant heading of "The Hunt for Bin Laden".

I don't watch CNN and if I needed any reminder of why I hate that station I got it this evening. Zarqawi's capture on CNN was a way to spin the bin Laden had not been captured.

Right now, the Republicans appear to be playing "rope-a-dope," but perhaps they'll come out swinging by the end of the summer.

"This is just to cover Bush's [rear] so he doesn't have to answer" for Iraqi civilians being killed by the U.S. military and his own sagging poll numbers, said Rep. Pete Stark, California Democrat. "Iraq is still a mess -- get out."

I'm beginning to think that reality as we know it is actually written by some out-of-work hack in Hollywood. This stuff is just too predictable.

In a related story...Just minutes ago on Wolf Blitzer's Insinuation Room, John McCain stated unequivocally that the MSM is portraying the war in Iraq accurately. This man must never become president.

CBS evening news had Bob saying:

Well, Bush didn't put up a 'mission accomplished' banner....

But is there "cause for concern?" Ugh! The MSM has been saying that since 9 AM this morning. Ooh, what if an even bigger fish takes over? What if thousands rally...What if...?

I need no further justification for giving up on drive-by media altogether.

But we should never question a Democrats patriotism. They are as patriotic as anyone. Democrats love this country.

No, really.

I know it sounds like I'm kidding, but I'm not...

OK, I can't take it anymore, I'm kidding. The last patriotic Dems I knew were from the WW2 generation. Most of them got saved and became Republicans in their older years. Coincidentally, or maybe not coincidentally.

Hey, Steve, have you heard anything from North Korea regarding the news of Zarqawi's death?

They are so pathetic! Do they really believe Al-Zarqawi would let us kill him by appointment? LOL! They're showing their collective ignorance! They're a bunch of whiny ass liberal bedwetters!

This morning, Kerry called for us to bring the troops home now. What an idiot! Thank God, he is NOT our Commander in Chief!

Pete Stark and Dennis Kucinich are both crackpots.

Ah...yeah...it's all a trick. In fact, no one was in that house when we dropped the bomb. We actually caught and killed Zarqawi 18 years ago and had his body frozen...and we thawed it out and put it in the house after the explosion...and Morgan Fairchild is my lover.

Yea, That's the ticket. Who am I?. Flannigan, yea, that's my name, yea, that's the ticket.

I'd almost like to think it WAS a stunt....perhaps even a Rovian one? If so, I'd have more confidence in Bush and his top guys than I have had 'lately'.

This is great stuff, and needs to be in an RNC campaign commercial. Voters need to be reminded of what the 'Rats are again and again and again.

Folks can argue about the significance of the decendency of Mr. Zarqawi, but the facts are that the s.o.b. had to die and he did.

If the liberals think , in their minds, that Mr. Z was a man who died too early, they can go to his funeral and mourn for him, I could care less.

"It's been a very tough day for them."

It's also been a tough decade (since 1994) for them.
