Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory? That didn't take long.

At least the anti-terrorist New York Post got it right with:
"GOTCHA!" over a pic of the very dead Zarqawi's face, and the caption "Warm up the virgins".
Just loved it.

About what I suspected. After looking at that picture of him dead again he really DOES look like Gene Simmons from Kiss, I wonder if Satan has him doing air guitar for him now...

Like the old joke goes..President Bush was photographed by the msm when he was walking on water at Camp David..the next day's headlines: "BUSH CAN'T SWIM"
To: Doogle
I'm sure this is ghoulish on my part - but I'm surprised at how almost peaceful he looks. I realize that it was literally a BOOM, and he was dead - but I'm still surprised by it.

Y-y-you mean the war isn't over now? ?(/sarc)
Well, no damned kidding. What kind of dream world do these idiots live in? Maybe a better question -- what kind of death wish to they have for this country?
Yes, children, the war is going to continue. But let's take some satisfaction that a big hole has been punched in Al-Qaeda, that Zarqawi got justice in this world and, if there is a more perfect justice in the life beyond the grave, he's getting it there too.
To: Jhensy
Just imagine what they'd be saying had this happened on Clintons watch(fat chance) and apply it to George W. and ignore these partisan fools.

Real disappointed to see the Montgomery, Alabama paper is a waste of time as well. I would have expected better from the solid people of Alabama.
Just goes to show that the weak, loser liars who currently comprise most of the media, will go anywhere to get a job that allows them to hide from the world on the sidelines and snipe at the players out on the field.

Nice summary. Explains the following:
To: Jhensy
I like this sub-headline from the WaPo editorial page.
Will the new Iraqi government, and the Bush administration, build on a rare military success, or squander it?
Rare military success? These clowns always wonder why the military leans to the right in elections. If you use your secret decoder ring, you'll see hidden in the article, "We hope so" as an answer to the squander question.

Thanks for posting this.
Yesterday, MO1 and I predicted this bs coming from our MSM and Dinosaur Fishwraps.
We decided this key word would be perfect for indexing: MSMMOURNINGZARQAWI
Later we can use their own words to bash them and pound them. No wonder the Dinosaur fishwraps are in trouble across the nation.

He was 'prettied up' for that photo. Here's an earlier one.

Also, I heard Major General Caldwell on radio this morning stating that Zarq was still alive when U.S. troops searched the bomb site. He reported the head-chopper tried to roll off the stretcher and escape. The monster died moments later.

Thank heavens Americans like Lord Haw Haw and Axis Sally were convicted of TREASON after the war.
England hanged William Joyce ("Haw Haw"). There is some belief that we would have let him live if we had conducted the trial.
These were American born broadcasters who spouted the same sort of lies you may hear on Herr Amerika. A point of difference being that these traitors did their deeds from Germany during the war.

The Newark Star Ledge must've had a reporter who was reluctant to tip off Zarqawi to his impending doom because of fear of wiretaps.
The press has a chosen side in this war and it is NOT the US.
