It has been 11 years since the horrific bombing and mass murder at the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. We have still not learned the truth.
Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) has announced that he will be holding hearings to learn the truth and examine a foreign connection.
Jayna Davis, the one reporter in this nation who has never given up on pursuing the truth about the Iraqi connection, returned my phone call today. She is really steamed.
According to Jayna, what Rohrabacher is doing is phony. The reason she knows it is phony is that Rohrabacher has not called one of her eyewitnesses to the Iraqi connection. She had brave people come forward and be videotaped with their stories. They want the truth to be known. Unfortunately, there are some within the FBI and congress who don't want the truth known.
Why President Bush will not let expose the coverup is a mystery. It would expose Bill Clinton and be a figurative stake in the heart to his wife.
Don't count on anything meaningful coming out of Rohrabacher's hearings. It is just one more dog and pony show.

In August 2002, nationally syndicated radio host Glenn Beck broadcast a two-hour probing interview with me and my attorney, David P. Schippers. The former federal prosecutor soared to national prominence in 1998 as the chief investigative counsel who spearheaded the impeachment trial of former President Bill Clinton. The publicity generated invitations to appear on dozens of radio talk shows in the largest broadcast markets.
After a thorough vetting process, respected journalists from across the country readily accepted the possibility of foreign complicity in the 1995 Murrah Building bombing. The wealth of information supporting such a thesis was presented to Senator Arlen Specter in the form of eighty pages of witness affidavits with twent-three hundred pages of corroborative documentation. In response, one of Specter's chief investigators, Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Swanton, hastily cribbed eight questions for the FBI following a closed-door briefing. An insider with the Pennsylvania congressional delegation leaked to me a copy of the Bureau's written response, otherwise, I would have never known it existed. Specter's decision to deny me the opportunity to address the FBI's paltry six-page rebuttal of my massive investigative file bewildered me. In my opinion, the letter was fraught with inaccuracies, falsehoods, and broad brush dismissals of the evidence, including fabricated statements speciously attributed to KFOR-TV's broadcasts and several critical witnesses. Needless to say, I was not wholly surprised given the Bureau's previous track record in dodging pointed questions that it could not adequately answer. On the other hand, I was deeply disillusioned by Senator Specter's willingness to endorse the obvious whitewash.

FYI, Charles Key just sent me info that ...the path to John Culbertson (who absconded with our full set of plans of the MB) appears to be a dead end -- no videos or other photos found in his office. (It's not like he wasn't given years to dispose of them...)
Aside: Anyone have any news re the surveillance videos that the FBI/DOJ has been setting on all these years?

I think you nailed it. Hopefully should anything horrific happen like this again, the public won't stand for being smoozed over.
OTOH, we are still being told the OU bomber was just a depressed lad and not a jihadi wannabe.
According to the other thread the hearings won't begin until September. Does your above statement deal with some other hearing?

That is not the reason. McVeigh wanted to die so therefore he never asked for an appeal of his sentence and refused the automatic appeal. When there are no appeals then the sentence is carried out.
Some day when she's too old to remember, as will most of us, they'll pretend like this is a "shocking revelation" from the end of the bloody 20th Century! They will also mention "The Militia,""The Contract With America" and "The Conservative Movement" in their expose!
As a footnote, they'll refer to the cynical bumpersticker of the time, "I love my country, but I fear my government!"
