Re: "Toronto police Chief Bill Blair actually boasted ..."
Aside from being a disgrace to his uniform for a host of additional reasons, Blair is the hand-picked bum-boy / lap-dog of Toronto's socialist Mayor David Miller.

"a small store-front mosque in Mississauga, a suburb just west of Toronto, that
twists true Islam."
No. Those who call Islam a religion of peace are the ones twisting it.

Mafoozbah is right on the money with this article.
Multiculturalism was and still is a problem in places like Indonesia, where a language was invented to unify the country, a fact that few people know.
Look at how Indonesia turned to genocide recently and the government has by necessity become a totalitarian police state. Illegal Mexican migration will lead the US in that direction too, if it is not stopped
A dominant unified culture which consists of freemen and freewomen, who allow others to take their seats properly within such a nation, and have adequate opportunity to acculturate towards freedom instead of setting up their own little world, IS by far the best form of freedom for ALL.
The minority culture can be preserved and funded privately, within the home, but to demand from a majority , its ultimate majority adaptation to a minority means death to a nation. That is what Canada faces, and the USA will only be too glad to help out when "de judgement day come."
That is why the Muzzies in Canada met with Harper, the tolerance of multicultural ignorance is now beginning to end in Canada, because Canadians will not pay the ultimate price of bondage to a totalitarian socialist Canadian government necessary to keep Canada whole as na nation in its multicultural mode. The Silent majority awakens and freedom and democracy are wagered!

"In the average western nation, the acceptance rate of refugee claimants is 12 to 15%, in Canada it's close to 50%."
The Supreme Court of Canada decreed that anyone setting foot on Canadian soil has all of the rights of a citizen -- even if they entered illegally, or under false pretenses. That idiocy led to an immediate, intractable, and growing backlog in processing refugee claims.
You might think that anyone seeking refuge here would appreciate what Canada has done for them. That they would be the first to recognize the failings of their original country & want to learn from their country of refuge. Gratitude, and a desire to fit in to the society that offered corporeal salvation sound like logical reactions for refugees.
Then, there's reality.

The alarm is ringing. Let's hope the good Canadians don't hit the snooze bar like so many Americans have.

In Canada the disease is far more advanced than in the United States. No wonder the country's home-grown Al Qaeda cell got as far as it did. It should be a wake-up call to Canadians on addressing their country's vulnerabilities.

"Multiculturalism has been bad for unity in Canada. It ghettoizes people, makes them believe, wrongly, that isolating themselves and not adapting to their new society is OK. It is not," says Kanwar, a devout Muslim. How refreshing! Too bad so few in the U.S. have the guts to speak so plainly.
"I don't see any country in the world better than Canada."
Yeah? Well, try looking south, buster. I think you veered a bit too far to the north when you came over back in '66. You ALMOST made it to the best country in the world. :-)

Don't get too smug FRiend:
Didn't virtually all of the members of the Buffalo-area terror cell busted in 2004 (?) - perhaps even more brazenly! - travel to Pakistan & some to Afghanistan for their training ???

The article said, "Why didn't these parents go with their children to this mosque to see who is influencing them?" asked Kanwar ...
I wouldn't be too quick to absolve the parents. They may very well know what's what and who's who. In fact, I would assume that, rather than not. FWIW.

The few muslims whom I know personally are the offspring of "old school" immigrant parents who are more loyal to this country than most native-born. Given the age of the suspects it is plausible that they were drawn to Islamofascism for much the same reasons that many teenagers and university students are drawn to Marxism.

If you don't think there's at least a dozen of these home grown cells
plotting stuff right now in your own country, you better give your head
a good good shake and wake up!!.
And you better pray your law enforcement (e.g. Homeland Security etal) are
on the job as effectively as our boys were/are...
