How would Soros react to the application of his principles of Open Society to his foundation?

For example:

From his website, "An open society is a society based on the recognition that nobody has a monopoly on the truth,"

From the interview, "the Republicans are much better at messaging and distorting the truth."

Apparently liberals have a monopoly on undistorted truth.

Those who tell the truth have a monopoly on the truth. Those that live in a lie are left out. Sorry, Georgy Porgy.

Karl Popper defined an "open society" simply as one in which political change can happen without bloodshed or a coup d'etat. Of course this definition doesn't allow Soros to take a subtle swipe at his ideological opponents.
