Heard this on the radio this morning. Apparently they know who she was. She was from Iowa and was in LA for her son's wedding.

I remember in the fifties I used to go to Santa Monica Beach a lot and there was this maintenance guy who used to drive a motorized rake to clean up the beaches.. We noticed he came close to hitting sun bathers several times. A few years later there was an article in the papers about a guy injuring a woman at the SM beach in this type of rig. I assumed it was the same guy we had seen earlier.
