Tipper Gore Ready to Support Another White House Run
ABC News ^ | 06/13/2006 | By Claire Shipman

Posted on 06/13/2006 7:07:43 AM PDT by oxcart

She's spent five years recovering from the last run at the White House, but Tipper Gore says she's ready if her husband wants to do it again.

"If he were going to run in the future, of course I would support him," Tipper Gore told ABCNews' Claire Shipman in her first television interview in four years. "I think he'd be a fantastic president. He already got a majority of votes of people in this country once, and so that says something."

Al Gore is back in the political spotlight with his new documentary on global warming, "An Inconvenient Truth," and some are wondering if he'll make another run for president.

One guarantee that a Clinton associate IS going to run for president seems to be that he/she insists he/she is definitely not running for president.

"I think he'd be a fantastic president. "

Tipper, Tipper, Tipper.
Now I know he's your husband and all that, but...he'd stink as president.
Even you should know that. After all you live with the sucker.

Tipsy is a great help to her handsome husband. Algored will probably stick his ample tongue down her throat again to thrill the millions of imbeciles who appreciate this kind of imbecilic behavior.

Then when he loses again he'll get drunk again with a gaggle of like simpletons and sweat like a Kansas State Fair prize winning hog.

Algored is truly a candidate for the sweating and simple-minded masses.

Gee, I hope he runs.

The libs could not put a respectable candidate before the American people if their existence depended upon it. Sadly, the moron masses make it the case, that they will still be there, whining and complaining and dragging down America, after 2008.

He must be running. He didn't run in 2004 because of her. Now that she has given the green light, I don't see him turning down the opportunity, unless he made a secret deal with Bill Clinton that he wouldn't run against his wife.

I'm torn. On one side I want him to run so it will upset Hillary's plans, but on the other side I want Hillary to win the Dem. nomination because I think she would be easier to beat. Either way, get some popcorn and sit down - it's going to be an interesting race in 2008!

unless he made a secret deal with Bill Clinton that he wouldn't run against his wife. I don't think he and Bill are very close. I can't believe that, in his heart of hearts, Al doesn't secretly resent Bill for not doing the decent thing and resigning during the impeachment. If he had, Al would've assumed the presidency, and would've been the incumbent in the 2000 race - a huge advantage over W.

Stupid twit.

Ignorance of this magnitude could only come from a true idiot.

But then...look what the vapid dumbass married.

Right on, Tipper!

He got a majority of the vote when he ran? 48.4% is not a majority. Maybe Mrs Gore needs some math lessons. She ought to get together with the anti Bush protestors who carry signs saying "50.7% is not a mandate." Yet Mr Bush DID get a majority of the vote in 2004, better than Gore or Clinton did.

If Al had any brains or courage, he would have threatend to resign over the Monica mess. And if Bill didn't then step aside, he could've resigned and been in a very strong position for 2000.

But, alas, the Clinton's have his FBI file, and he is a coward...

I can't stand them either, but I think that is a bit of a low blow because they have been married (seriously unlike the Clintons) and have four kids so they really are family values. I heard that they are pro-life also. I don't think that she is a liberal as Al and I don't think that Al is as liberal as the other dems. I just think he went off the deep end with the environmental nonsence.

Press photogs are not allowed to photograph the Gores from behind. Same deal for the Clintons. Each of this this quartet has a back porch that blots out the Sun.

There was an article last week by someone on the left, can't remember who, who basically said that Gore has said he doesn't want to run, that he's happier influencing policy in other ways and that's it--Gore's not going to run. And now Tipper is out there saying what a good president he would be and she would support another run. Guess Al doesn't like to be taken at his word. Don't these fools know that when he says he's not running, he's just being coy. Run, Al, run.
