Sure, the "widows" time was past but the author of this article misses that Ann attacked the media for propagandizing the "widows". That is just an historical fact, and the media defensively attacking Ann for pointing it out hurts them, not her- or us.

I sat here and read over 300 posts and came to the conclusion that we have to be more like the Rats. We need compassion, sensitivity, style and caring. Perhaps we can get Shumer to put a bullet between her eyes. If he can get away with it.

Actually, we don't, which in my opinion is part of the problem. The left is far better at it. If your statement were true, the counterparts on the right to the Jersy girls for instance, would have been as heavily touted in the conservative media. They weren't.
And btw, the left takes care of the victims they use as symbols, while the right, when they do use them, dumps theirs and forgets about them. I and my sibling are prime examples. Paula Jones is another.
