I was a liberal until I got my first paycheck - then it was not so funny anymore...

It does explain why the right is winning.
Very few want to be in the party of 'moonbats'.

Seth grew up in the 1960s but somehow overlooks LBJ. Curious.

Churchill said something like........
If you're young, and not Liberal, you have no heart.
If you're older, and not Conservative, you have no brain.

Great article. I always love reading the liberal seeing the light stories. You can almost feel the wool being lifted from their eyes.

I like seeing articles like this. I too grew out of liberalism once I realized what a bunch of nutcases the leadership was and the direction it was all heading.

Seth grew up in the 1960s but somehow overlooks LBJ. Curious. He was only four years old for LBJ's election.

What does it say about Democrats if the "dummy" they think Bush is can scare them so easily?Excellent statement.

Do they think the Middle East and the World would be safer if we had cut and run, as Murtha's plan wanted us to do? Under that plan, our troops would have been out of Iraq by May 18th and al-Zarqawi wouldn't be dead, but pulling the strings in an Iraqi civil war. With these kinds of ideas and behaviors, I just don't trust Democrats when it comes to our national security.Excellent point!

In 1989, I remember questioning whether Democrat David Dinkins was the best choice for Mayor of New York City (where I lived) over Rudy Giuliani. After all, Dinkins' biggest claim to fame was as a city clerk in the Marriage License Bureau while Giuliani, as a United States District Attorney, had just de-fanged the mob. But, racial "healing" was the issue of the day, Dinkins won, and the city went straight downhill. When Giuliani beat Dinkins in a rematch four years later - Surprise! - the crime rate plummeted, tourism boomed, Times Square came alive not with pimps but with commerce.
I've "asked" this before, but it bears repeating.
EVERY city run by Democrats is in the TOP percentile in violent crime, drug addiction, school drop outs, illiteracy (even though the have the largest per pupil spending in their public schools), unwed mothers, welfare, rates of HIV and other STDs, and so on, and so on...and has extremely high punitive taxes that kills progress.
How in the world does anyone -- EVER -- get the impression that the democrats (except the odd conservative ones, here and there) can run anything, anywhere, at anytime...period!?
