Madeleine Albright: Iraq War Sparked Iran, N. Korea

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright criticized the U.S. invasion of Iraq, saying Monday it had encouraged Iran and North Korea to push ahead with their nuclear programs.

Albright, who served under President Clinton, said "the message out of Iraq is the wrong one."

"The message out of Iraq is that if you don't have nuclear weapons, you get invaded. If you do have nuclear weapons, you don't get invaded," she said after an investors' conference in Moscow.

Albright visited North Korea in October 2000, becoming the highest-level American official ever to travel to the country. The two nations do not have formal diplomatic relations.

Albright also said Russia did not deserve membership in the Group of Eight major industrialized nations because it did not meet all the requirements.

"In terms of some criteria on open society, democracy, there are more and more questions, frankly," said Albright, who is now a business consultant.

In particular, she said Russia's state-controlled gas monopoly OAO Gazprom was being used for political ends and appeared to be "operating less as a gas company than as a state structure."

Moscow's reliability as an energy supplier was called into question this year when it briefly cut off natural gas supplies to several European countries in a dispute with Ukraine. The incident rattled European policy makers, who also accused Russia of using its substantial oil and gas resources as a political weapon.

Russia, which was admitted to the G-8 during the Clinton presidency, is hosting the group's summit in St. Petersburg next month.

Halfbright was the one who came up with the halfbaked idea that the Bush Administration was holding usama on ice, just waiting to drag his rotten carcas out just before the 2004 election. The October Surprise of 2004, as it were.

Halfbright should be plying here wares for the dailychaos kids, she would make them seem sensible by comparison.

Someone tell this pathetic gasbag that both NK and Iran pushed ahead quite well throughout the Clintonista years, despite the pretence of bozos like half-bright that they were addressing the problems.

I'd be happy to hand Albright and Wesley Clark over to any sort of a legitimate international war crimes tribunal for their rule in dog-wag III (Kosovo).

"The message out of Iraq is that if you don't have nuclear weapons, you get invaded. If you do have nuclear weapons, you don't get invaded," she said after an investors' conference in Moscow.

We all know full well that had Bush ignored Iraq and went after NK & Iran, here's what we'd be hearing right now:
* "we're stretched too thin"
* "it's a failed policy"
* "too many countries hate us"
* "the Arab & Asian Streets will rise up against us"
* "we can't afford it because of tax cuts for the rich!"
* "No blood for...uh...uhhh...I'll think of something!"

And on and on and on. Maddie da Maid knows she won't be challenged on her dimwitted policies in the Tired Old Media. The bottom line is that the pacifist lefties would be whimpering and meowing absolute no matter what President Bush does; in this parallel universe or in any other.

Ms Albright- ESPECIALLY at the moment- in the midst of various stressful times with Iran and North Korea:

STFU.

"Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright criticized the U.S. invasion of Iraq, saying Monday it had encouraged Iran and North Korea to push ahead with their nuclear programs"

Oookaay.
So exactly what what war did BJ Klinton fight so much so that it "encouraged" India and Pakistan to develop nuclear weapons then?
If I recall correctly these 2 countries developed and actually TESTED their nuclear weapons right under the noses of the incredibly incompetent Klintoon regime, and NOTbright didn't even have a clue India was going to carry out a test.

We haven't even mention BJ Klinton sending the totally hopeless Jimmy Carter to go surrender to the North Koreans, and essentially give them carte blanche to develop their nuclear weapons program, while America paid them vast sums of money and sent them free oil.
Sickening.
Madeleine NOTbright can spin all she wants, but she can't create her all set of facts.
facts are facts.

So, what she's saying is:

1) We should've pushed through to a total victory in Korea in the 1950's.
2) We should've invaded Iran in the 1980s.
3) We should've invaded Iraq in the 1990s.
4) We should've done something about Communist China before they got nukes.

No? That's not what she's saying? Then what is she saying? Oh, she's validating the petty tyrant mentality that if they have nukes they can hold the world hostage in return for not using their nukes?

But that doesn't make any sense...

(This is an example of Albright's "Many Super Powers" theory of world peace. The more countries with nukes, the more likely that nobody will use them. Liberal Leftists believe in this firmly. It was the underlying reasoning behind Clinton's foreign policy.)

"If you do have nuclear weapons, and give to the DNC
then you don't get invaded,"
Albright said after an investors' conference in Moscow.

Secretary of Defense Cohen, Impeached Bill Clinton, Albright, and long-accepted CODE-level thief
and document destroyer National Security Adviser Sandy Berger,
holding court in the Ronald Reagan Building on April 25, 1999
The Impeached Bill Clinton: "We were all making comments
we shouldn't have about how the meeting was getting very boring.
So finally we decided we had to make like the monkey. Cohen
started this 'hear no evil,' and then I was next so I spoke no evil,
then Madeleine saw no evil, so Sandy Berger said, 'I'm evil.
'"
