Why don't you quit attacking freepers who don't agree with you? It's clear there are holes in this story.

Am I attacking? LOL I am just one poster that happens to agree with Mr. Parkers efforts to rid his school of the insidious leftist homosexual activists that wish to take control of childrens moral upbringing away from parents under the false guise of education...

I tend not to take wacko conspiracy theories or those that push them too seriously even when posted on FR and ESPECIALLY when the primary goal objectively has less to do with truth than it does with attempting to vilify a person such as Mr. Parker...

The facts seem simple enough here -David Parkers son was beaten up and David Parker feels it is related to his efforts to oppose the homosexual agenda -big woop!

You do not see but a few running around with their heads exploding over this earth shattering news because it is not really earth shattering news...

Setting aside Mr. Parkers thoughts, at worst IF the "conservative news" side of the story is completely true at most it disparages unnamed homosexual activist parents and their children -again, big woop!

When I read such nonsense posted as justification to villify Mr. Parker repeatedly in a spammer like fashion on ever article posted on FR on this subject I do not see crusaders for truth here attempting to rescue me from lies -I see a few trolls some familiar from other homosexual agenda topic discussions that in this case are frantically attempting yet failing to control information they wish they could censor but can not and as such now feel driven to spin.

I can figure out what and who to believe all on my own thank you...

Good post, peach. Yes, the more I think about it, it is the only answer. BTW, got a name of that book?

The name of the book is Hillary's Secret War on the Internet. I own it but it's on loan to another out of town freeper. If you want to read it, I'll let you know when it's returned.

Thank You! When the police show up on this type of call, THEY ALWAYS give you a warning to leave the premises. They really don't want to have to go through all the BS of an arrest, paperwork, court time, etc., etc., over something that is basically very petty. They just don't show up and say "Hey you, you're under the arrest". I don't like those who LIE, MISLEAD, DISTORT on any side.

Well said. The truth has been brutally abused on these threads. Hopefully it's strong enough to recover. Hang in there.

Why didn't the father just take his boy out of that school and either homeschool or put him into a Christian school? The father deserted his own duty to his son by taking a controversial stand without thinking of the consequences his boy might suffer.

Thank you.

This father knew a year ago that the school would not agree to his position and STILL left his kid there, not only to be exposed to the curriculumn but in danger on the front lines of his own war with the school district.

The father is irresponsible and a hypocrite as far as I'm concerned.

In this special email update:

ACTIVISM PAYS OFF: Lexington, MA, school superintendent asks District Attorney to investigate beating of David Parker's first-grade son on two-year anniversary of same-sex "marriage" in Massachusetts.

Superintendent acknowledges in press release that move comes from pressure from MassResistance!

Local police and state Dept. of Social Services also requested by schools to conduct investigation.

At the same time, Lexington school officials begin nasty public spin campaign against the Parkers to discredit them. Superintendent writes bizarre, rambling account of incident in press release.

WORSE: School officials leak "facts" to local pro-gay group prior to superintendent's press release. Gay group issues its own press release day before Superintendent's press release.

Why did school wait a month to act?

Lexington school superintendent Paul Ash has announced that he is requesting the Middlesex County District Attorney, as well as the Lexington police department and Massachusetts Department of Social Services to investigate the May 17 beating of David Parker's first-grade son by a group of kids during recess.

As we reported in last Wednesday's email: on May 17 - the two-year anniversary of same-sex "marriage" in Massachusetts - David Parker's first-grade son, Jacob, was led to a secluded area and beaten by a group of kids at the Estabrook Elementary School in Lexington during recess, receiving multiple blows to the chest, stomach, and genital area.

Last year David Parker was arrested and made national news over the school's refusal to notify him when adults discuss homosexuality or transgenderism with his son, then in kindergarten. The school system has continued to refuse to notify any parents. On April 27, 2006, Parker, his wife, and another family filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the school system.

MassResistance has chronicled the hostile and at times virulent anti-David Parker campaign both inside the Estabrook Elementary School and throughout the Lexington community by a pro-gay group in Lexington organized specifically to target Parker, which many believe has incited young children in the town and especially at the Estabrook Elementary School.

Read the full MassResistance account here.
http://www.massresistance.com/docs/events06/parker_incident/index.html

Yes, activism pays off!

Last Wednesday, June 14, after a month of waiting to see if the school system would act on its own, MassResistance finally brought this terrible incident to light. The next day it was in the Boston Globe and on the front page of the local Lexington Minuteman newspaper. Your calls and emails, we're told, flooded the school and the superintendent from across the country.

Two days later, in his press release, dated June 16, the superintendent publicly acknowledged that pressure from MassResistance forced the school to confront the issue and to admit and act upon the seriousness of the matter - in the face of growing outrage.

But more anti-Parker spin by Superintendent and other school officials.

Unfortunately, the Superintendent and other school officials now appear have begun a nasty, even vicious PR campaign against the Parker family, and the public's perception of the facts surrounding the incident. This is reflected by the bizarre, rambling account of the "facts" in the press release, which largely contradicts the Parkers' account of what happened, which at the time school officials had generally acknowledged.

(We are also concerned that that the superintendent's decision to get the Department of Social Services (DSS) involved is a retribution of sorts against the Parkers. We don't see any reason for it. The DSS has a sordid reputation for terrorizing families and threatening to take their kids away from them. We will be monitoring that.)

Read the bizarre press release from Lexington Superintendent Paul Ash here.
http://www.massresistance.com/docs/events06/parker_incident/press_releases.html#release_june16

It gets worse - school officials leak "facts" to local pro-gay group.

Prior to the Superintendent's press release, the Estabrook librarian and other school officials apparently spoke privately with the local pro-gay Lexington group, "LexingtonCares", that has devoted itself to a year of virulent attacks on David Parker.

On Thursday, June 15 - the day before the Superintendent's press release LexingtonCares issued its own anti-Parker press release which presents yet another "official" spin story of what happened. In the press release, LexingtonCares references information they received from the Estabrook principal, assistant principal, nurse, teacher, and school librarian!

The obvious question: Why are these school officials talking to a local homosexual activist group about this incident? This is not only extremely unprofessional, but troubling and offensive.

Read the "LexingtonCares" press release here.
http://www.massresistance.com/docs/events06/parker_incident/press_releases.html#release_june15

It goes without saying that the hypocrisy surrounding this is breathtaking. If this had been the other side - for instance, a child with "gay" parents who had been assaulted - they would have practically closed the schools over it. But when this incident occurred, it appears to have been downplayed as much as possible. School officials determined that neither the school nurse nor the police should be called - that the school would handle it. No one was suspended from school; instead (as the Superintendent mentioned) they got yet another session of the pro-homosexual "Open Circle" diversity program.

The bottom line: A lot of people want to know why it took the school system an entire month to take this seriously. If we hadn't publicly raised the issue they would still be trying to sweep it under the table. That's why citizens' groups like MassResistance are so important.

We'll stay on top of any developments in this.

YOU CAN TAKE ACTION:

1. Stop the homosexual programs that help fuel this in public schools.

This horrific incident exposes the poisonous nature of the state-funded "safe schools" program, which are thinly veiled homosexual propaganda -- that makes schools "safe" for gay activism but dangerously unsafe for anyone who doesn't agree. The Massachusetts Legislature is now poised to quadruple the funding for these programs -- to nearly $2 million! Governor Romney MUST veto this when it happens later this month.

Contact Governor Romney's office. Tell him that he must veto ALL money in the 2007 budget for homosexual programs in the public schools. Give our schools back to the parents and children! He needs to get that message!

2. Tell the activists that their anti-David Parker hate has no place in America.

This anti-David Parker website in Lexington (ironically called "Lexington Cares") obsessively incites and catalogues rhetoric, intimidation, and activism against David Parker and his family. www.LexingtonCares.org
Contact them at: http://www.lexingtoncares.org/ContactUs.html

This second website coordinates the homosexual activism against David Parker and his family in Lexington: www.RespectingDifferences.org

Note the confusion techniques that both of these websites use to incite people against citizens with traditional values.

Am I attacking?

You've told freepers who don't agree with your position to take a hike. This isn't your forum and it's not your thread.

You tend to not take conspiracy theories too seriously? LOL. One would never know it from reading your posts.

And you're quite the riot talking about spam. You've posted this story just how many times now? Dozens.

Then a few of us come along with our own links which shows that Parker wasn't really arrested because he objected to homosexual material being taught his son but rather because he refused to leave the school when the meeting was over.

And I see you have absolutely no answers to the more realistic questions a few of us have had.

Why didn't Parker file a police report for several weeks? Why didn't Parker take his son to a hospital to see if he had internal injuries from this "mob" that attacked him? Why did he permit his son to visit the home of the boy who presumably attacked him? Why hasn't Parker opened a complaint with Children's Services and the DA?

Why should we believe one word he says? He's permitting so much misinformation to be spread it's become an urban legend. That suits his agenda just fine. It's not a bad agenda, but using a child to further it is disgusting. And possibly dangerous to the child.

No, hon. I can see that it's quite correct what I remembered reading.

Parker refused to leave the school and insisted on being arrested.

It's sad to see so many freepers who are part of the group who don't want to let the facts get in the way of their agenda.

Who is we?

I believe him and I do not believe the homosexual activists -if you do not like that then deal with it in some other fashion -something other than spamming FR suggesting you are an enraged seeker of truth! LOL

Thank you for your information filled post.

I lived in Lexington, MA for a couple of years. It is easily the most liberal town I have ever lived in. It is more liberal than Berkeley and Cambridge, where I have also lived.

Lexington is the town where, during the Vietnam War, almost the entire town had a sit-in on the Lexington Green and hundreds were arrested and taken to the local school gymnasium.

The town is so liberal that you'd never drive your car there with a Bush sticker. It would would be trashed. The school system is out-of-control liberal. I'd believe they'd be teaching about *anything* to kids in the first grade.

Spamming? LOLOL

You've done pretty much nothing but spam this case for weeks from what I can tell.

I, on the other hand, have posted about this matter for 3 days occasionally. And I've posted mainstream news organization web sites vs. the agenda driven drivel you're posting.

But I know you can't help yourself; your agenda is more important than the facts. Too bad it makes Free Republic lose credibility in the process.

Ummmmm Hon..........you might want to read somewhere other than a Lexington town paper, or Lexington cares website. When the school board reports to all three, what kind of report can one expect. You apparently don't know this school system. This is not the first time they have had parents in an uproar, and not the first time they have intimidated those parents. Only difference is, Mr. Parker is not going to be intimidated into silence, or moving.

I wouldn't want to be in his position, or his sons, but I applaud his values, and his standing up for them. He feels enough is enough, and he isn't going to just move away or take his kid out, and the heck with the rest of the innocent children in the school, as many have felt compelled to do, not that I blame them). Someone has to stand up for what's right, and not back down. He is brave enough to do it. And as such, has my and many others, full support.
