Attacks on John Kerry Discredited
Military.com ^ | June 19, 2006 | Wade Sanders

Posted on 06/19/2006 7:12:14 PM PDT by Phil Harmonic

There are those who are already so entrenched in their hatred of Kerry, that no official Navy records, no verified eye-witness testimony, no facts will every cause them to re-evaluate their point of view. However, I am assured that there are many who, regardless of their political background, are interested the facts and see knowledge as an evolutionary process, and who take the time to research their opinions and speak from a foundation of fact. It clearly is not necessary to like John Kerry, or agree with his record as a Senator, but it seems to me that a vicious attack on any man's integrity and honor deserves to be based on something other than lies and distortions. Well, here are some facts based on the official Navy record, Navy messages, the Navy archives, and the statements of witnesses who were really there.

"no facts will every cause them to re-evaluate their point of view."

Everyone does typos from time to time, but when you are supposed to be making a big political overture, at least read what you are going to be posting.

Admiral Hoffmann once claimed that “none of my Coastal Commands every inserted any troops of this kind into Cambodia” but the full text of Hoffmann's quote actually seems to undermine his fellow Swifties, not help them. Hoffmann continues, “We had some operations we ran north that I am not at liberty to discuss,” apparently conceding that Command Task Force 115 was involved in cross-border missions -- a point the Swifties have long denied as part of their alleged proof Kerry could never have been in Cambodia.

(It is an established historical fact that the American military as well as civilian intelligence were operating covertly in Cambodia years prior to the secret bombing campaign and the public incursion. SOG -- the Studies & Operations Group -- was a joint command that undertook secret missions inside Cambodia beginning not later than 1967, according to the book “Sideshow,” a leading historical work on the war in Cambodia.)

Command of all cross-border operations was under the US Army, Commander of MACV-SOG during that time. It was also well established that all cross border insertions into Cambodia and Laos were by helocopter, not boats, as boats had been discarded as an insertion vehicle in the mid 1960s.

If the Admiral had known about such operations, he is now no longer under any known secrecy prohibitions and should tell what he knows.

If Kerry had skippered a boat into Cambodia, he would have been under operational control of Command and Control South (CCS), a unit of MACVSOG. His boat, and all weapons would have had all identification removed. He would have required a top secret clearance. He would have known exactly what his mission was. Where did he go? What troops did he insert? What was their mission? When did he extract the troops? How did he receive his orders? Who did he report to during the mission?

I was there during that time. I doubt it!

Who gives a rat's pattooty about Kerry's military record. He may have been a hero to rank with Audie Murphy, for all I care. It's his despicable record as a civilian traitor that is important.

Heck, even George McGovern was a war hero.

Ezekiel 3:20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Ezekiel 18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

I assume you're talking about the Fake veteran's group that Kerry helped start (Fake because apparently several of the folks testifying in front of Congress claiming to be vets weren't)

If I've got my facts straight - Kerry claimed that he quit the group when the discussions went the way your mentioning, i.e. talking about assassinating US senatores.

As with murtha, so with kerry.

I'm not interested in the actions of Lt. Kerry, UNSR. They are irrelevant. I'm interested in the actions of Senator Kerry (D-MA). And those actions are so thoroughly dishonest, dishonourable, and disgusting that I cannot respect him even in the slightest.

"...I find any attack on any veteran who has honorably served distasteful . . ."

One of Rush's callers pointed out that Lee Harvey Oswald was a Marine... just like Murta was.

He has been placed at the meeting. My info is that it was at that meeting where he resigned his leadership position. I presume that he voted no, but he the duty to report the conspiracy to the FBI.

Everyone is free to rewrite history and many do for reasons known only to them. This critter is exercising that privilege, while rational people are free to exercise their right to ignore his lies and view Kerry as the POS he haws proven himself to be.

There has been information released by Kerry, most of it from his DD 214. Other documents released just don't square with his obligation contract nor do medal citations signed by John Lehman (who denies authorizing the Silver Star) square with his assignment to the river boats. At the time Kerry was in VN, John Chaffee was SECNAV. This fact is easily verifiable. Inconsistencies in the released material are many.

The real records that ought to be examined lie with the ONI and FBI.

What is important is that John Kerry harped on Vietnam in order to deflect discussion about his post-Vietnam politics - his antiwar activities and his ultra-liberal Senate record. It was a type of deceit, a dishonest tactic which he didn't think his opponents would have the nerve to call him on. They did, and his strategy failed.

It must also be noted that Kerry initially LIED about the date of his supposed resignation from the VVAW. Until he was forced to fess up to his attendance at the Kansas City "Assassination" meeting, Kerry (and his campaign) were peddling the outright LIE that Kerry recalled resigning from VVAW in a St. Louis VVAW meeting in July, 1971.

His campaign was FORCED to acknowledge Kerry's fraudulent "memory" when FBI surveillance files (and, subsequently, eyewitnesses from within the VVAW itself) placed him at the meeting of the VVAW conspirators.

Ironically (if my memory serves me correctly), the FBI "Gotcha" was served up by Gerald? Nicosia, a Kerry supporter who had been doing pro-Kerry research when he stumbled into the FBI revelation. As I also recall, Nicosia was stunned by the information he had discovered.

Apparently not so Mr. Sanders or the MSM who give wide latitude to associating with assassination conspirators and documented, outright LIARS like Kerry.
