I guess that part of the Bible will be out of the PC pews next week at many churches so we can all be PC
i agree i as a presbyterian i just dont understand I know my church and the people that were there voted against this ruling
Ditto.
If people are still members of the PCUSA it is time to stop complaining what the denomination is doing and stop sending them money.
Same thing for the Episcopals, Lutherans, Methodists, and UCC.
The PCUSA political machine is solidly in the leftist camp. The only thing your church can do is to stop sending money to any of the denominational entities.
Starve them.
Holy crap, I knew the PCUSA was going liberal, but I never saw this coming. They had previously defeated such attempts fairly easily.
I am glad I left years ago and joined the Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Or church money could be used to push a gay agenda politically. This is just subversion of christianity for the homosexual agenda. Lord have mercy on them.
You should have left the PC USA long ago. They've been whacked out for years. Join your brothers and sisters at the PCA instead.
Anyone wanting to know what happened to the PCUSA (and likewise to other liberal denominations) shoud read...
"CROSSED FINGERS: HOW THE LIBERALS CAPTURED THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH" by Gary North.
It won't be for long ...
I suspect the gay clergy may have to stand aside to avoid the stampede of members getting out of that so-called church.
Amen. God provides.
Welcome to the PCA. We've been here 16 years, and have been thankful ever since for a denomination firmly rooted in the Bible.
Indeed. Every time it makes one of these awful decisions it drives more conservative and moderate members from its ranks. That causes it to become even more radical which in turn guarantees it will take even more outrageous stances. In the end, it arrives in hell at warp speed.
Well said.
List, DB?
Several of the attendees were overheard saying, "Boy, my ears itch! Scratch that for me, would ya?"
That would be a great title for a book about God, but not a name for the Trinity.
For pity's sake, these fools are basically afraid of God. How else to explain this?
yes i agree
At least Unitarians will admit that the Bible condemns homosexuality. They'll pretend all that stuff was put in there by men, but they'll at least admit it's there.
