Just days before his Republican primary election, U.S. Rep. Chris Cannon is seeing more than $134,000 flowing into his war chest, much of it from organizations known to favor cheap immigrant labor. The pro-immigration groups have given Cannon, R-Utah, at least $58,200 in the past 12 days alone, a review of federal campaign reports shows. That includes at least $30,000 from agricultural interests — such as the California Farm Bureau and the Dairy Farmers of America. Additional money is coming from businesses known for hiring inexpensive labor —including Wal-Mart and the National Roofing Contractors Association.

Whew spiff, you toked early on your liberal bong today, IMO.

Liberal?

You're the one that supports the Kennedy/Kerry/Pelosi/Clinton amnesty for future Democrat voters plan championed by the marxists who marched in our streets in May.

Liberal?

You're the one who constantly trashes conservative Republican Rep. Tom Tancredo using the smears and slander concocted and spread by liberal democrats.

You know Tom Tancredo, he's the one with the terrific voting record in Congress as evidenced by the ratings he's earned from various conservative organizations:

Rep. Tom Tancredo's ratings from various conservative organizations:
100% "Best and Brightest" Rating from American Conservative Union (one of only 38 other Congressmen)
100% Rating from National Right to Life Committee
100% Rating from Conservative Index (Spring '05 - 75% lifetime, tied for second highest rating)
100% Rating from Concerned Women for America
100% Rating from Christian Coalition
100% Rating from Campaign for Working Families
100% Rating from FreedomWorks
98% Rating from National Tax Limitation Committee (average since 1999)
95% "Taxpayer Hero" Rating from Citizens Against Government Waste
95% Rating from Americans for Tax Reform
95% Rating from Christian Action Network
93% Rating from Eagle Forum (tied for second highest rating)

Rep. Tom Tancredo's ratings from various leftist organizations:
0% Rating from National Education Association
0% Rating from National Organization for Women
0% Rating from Brady Campaign
0% Rating from People for the American Way
0% Rating from Planned Parenthood

Uh, no I don't, but nice try at tancredo/bay buchanan distraction there spiffy.

BTW, why did your heroes tancredo/bay buchanan decide to go after good conservative Chris Cannon, instead of RINO, Chris Shays.

You still haven't answered that question. Must be a quandry in your workplace, the tancredo/bay buchanan PAC.

Why do you hate Border Patrol Agents? Why do you hate people who put their lives on the line every day to enforce our laws? Why do you hate Americans? Michael Moore loves to eat. You eat things that you love. Therefore, you love Michael Moore. < /mocking Dane >

And I don't some consider diary farmers who produce milk as evil, as you do.

BTW, better get working on finding that cow. That way you can be sure that your milk is %100 American pure.

Oh BTW, better find a hay supplier. Bessie the cow there eats a ton of it.

Dairy and other farmers evil? They just milk the system, like the illegals, Farm Subsidies, MilC Subsidies, school lunch programs, cheap illegal help, all subsidized by US taxpayers. Big contributions because of big payoffs in pork spending. It should be illegal, definitely immoral IMO. The American way buy off Congress get it returned times 10. It seems you are spelling out your sense of ethics or lack there off.

Why do you go after good conservative Tom Tancredo instead of RINO Chris Shays?

Uh because so called "good conservative" tom tancredo sets up a PAC with bay buchanan to get rid of Chris Cannon, while tom tancredo ignores RINO Chris Shays.

And also Chris Cannon does not set up a PAC to help defeat either tancredo or shays.

Look spiff, your hero tancredo is an opprutunitic creep and nutball and people see that.

Below is a hit I got when I put the keywords "tancredo, corsi" in the Google News section.

...If this exposé and Congressman Tancredo’s outrage do not result in a rock solid indictment of Bush as a traitor, a felon, a criminal, and the greatest threat this nation has ever encountered, then I'll give up permanently. This is America’s last chance to rescue itself from the un-American regime that has seized power in this once beautifully free republic...

You all are going the nutball route, spiff, and tom tancredo it seems, wants to be the conductor, and is recruitng such people as john jacob to shovel the coal.

I fully expect that Bay will talk Tancredo into jumping into the third party swimming pool at some point, and he'll never be heard from again.

Why do you go after good conservative Tom Tancredo instead of RINO Lincoln Chaffee?

Why do you go after Team Tancredo PAC who works to elect more conservative Republicans instead of going after La Raza who works to elect Democrats?

Why do you go after good conservative Tom Tancredo instead of Pelosi, Clinton, Kennedy, Kerry, etc?

Why do you fight border and immigration law enforcement but you don't fight abortion which kills 1.2 million huma beings in the United States every year?

You can't live without air. Ted Kennedy spews massive amounts of hot air. You can't live without Ted Kennedy. < /mocking Dane's non sequitur logic again>

And IMO, guess who will get all the money, it won't be tommy boy, it will be bay.

PT Barnum was right, there is a sucker born every minute, and tom tancredo is and will be the pigeon for bay buchanan's 2008 election "independent party" con game.

I haven't heard a word of criticism from YOU or your hero Chris 'open borders' Cannon about LULAC, MALDEF, La Raza, the Brown Berets, and the rest of the marxist insurgents aiding and abetting the invasion.

I do keep hearing how you're siding with the Democrats and RINOs on this issue and against the conservative Republicans. Why do you continue to abuse this conservative forum to continue your agenda of aiding and abetting the Democrats and liberal Republicans?

You know, the Whigs were uncomfortable with the fringer, unappeasable "conservatives" of their party who fought against the slave labor special interests and upholding our Constitution and its protections. Hmmm... I wonder what happened to the Whigs...

The more things change...

Well stated.

Left out of your excerpt:

"Yes, these PACs have figured out where Chris stands" on illegal immigration, Jacob said Tuesday. Jacob and anti-illegal immigration groups say Cannon supports guest-worker programs and amnesty — a charge that Cannon denies.

"These contributions make it very clear that Cannon supports cheap, often illegal, immigrant labor," Jacob said. "But he's trying to tell the voter that he's tough on illegal immigration. The PACs are saying, 'We know where you are, and here's your money.' "

Heheheh...

Dane, I have a dumb question concerning the need our society has for all these low skilled laborers.

We already have a couple of native born ethnic groups with sky high birthrates and roughly a 50% dropout rate from high school. However, they refuse to work because AFDC, welfare and SSI benefits are too lucrative. In times past, these people did the work the illegals are doing now, and it's past time for them to get started working again.

All illegal aliens should be rounded up and sentenced to six months hard labor constructing a REAL WALL on our southern border, then shipped home and banned for life from returning under pain of lifetime imprisonment. I don't care if their grandkid IS carrying a gun in Iraq.

Illegal immigration has been the top topic in the race, with GOP challenger John Jacob saying a "perfect storm" is building in his candidacy and he believes he has a real shot at unseating the five-term congressman. Jacob says Cannon is out of step with how 3rd District Republicans stand on illegal immigration.

Dr. Alan Keyes is in Provo today giving an immigration speech..a reply to Vicente Fox's recent lobbying trip to Utah.

Here's a Salt lake radio interview the good Doctor gave yesterday:

Furthermore, this artificially low labor cost is retarding development of mechanized systems for farm labor through removing the incentive to buy and develop machinery.

Cutting sugar cane is a prime example. I know how to mechanize the harvesting operation, but no one is interested as long as Jose' can come and work for a season and the ICE load them up before they can get paid.

Illegal Immigrants Free To Go

Local police said they intercepted 20 illegal Mexican immigrants, but were ordered by immigration officials to let them go free.

Belmont County Sheriff Fred Thompson said his officers were instructed by federal immigration services to let all 20 illegal immigrants go free, and said his department has no choice but to follow the orders from immigration officials.

Thompson said officers stopped a van at 3 a.m. Tuesday which was traveling the wrong direction on Interstate 470 in St. Clairsville.

The officer discovered 20 illegal Mexican immigrants inside the van, including three who were previously deported. The officer immediately contacted immigration officials, who told him to let all 20 immigrants go.

"Once we find out they are illegals, it's like pat them on the back of the head and tell them, 'Go on down the road; you'll probably get stopped again,'" Thompson said.

The immigrants told the officer they were traveling through Ohio to obtain work in Manassas, Va.

Calls to Citizenship and Immigration Services as well as Immigration and Customs Enforcement have not been returned.

TUCSON - The new commissioner in charge of U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Tuesday visited the porous Arizona border, where he said building a wall "doesn't make sense."

Stemming the flow of illegal immigration and drug trafficking will take a combination of manpower, technology and infrastructure, not just barriers, W. Ralph Basham said. His view clashes with some members of Congress and border-security advocates but supports President Bush's "comprehensive" approach to border security.

"It (a border wall) doesn't make sense. It's not practical," said Basham, sworn in June 5 as head of the agency that oversees the Border Patrol and U.S. Customs. advertisement

Speaking to reporters at the Border Patrol's Tucson sector headquarters, the busiest in the nation, Basham said he doesn't support a borderwide wall and neither does President Bush.
