Hotair.com has clips of Ann Coulter's Dayside interview, one of her best yet!
http://hotair.com/archives/top-picks/2006/06/21/coultermania-huddy-estrich-call-ac-out-on-dayside/
Since I work afternoons, I don't get to watch Dayside. Well, actually I haven't been watching it anyway because I can't stand Juliette Huddy or Mike Jarrick. Where's Linda Vester??? Is she coming back??
Anyway, I love AC. She dishes it out AND she can take it and I love that!!
By the way...I thought the same thing about those darn women before I ever heard of AC's book.
Hilarious shot at Howie Dean.
Linda Vester is on maternity leave.
Ann is definitely more attractive than Juliet, IMO. Or maybe it's because she's just so much sharper, and I think Juliet is just a blonde bimbo huzzy. (Meow, hiss hiss).
She really issued a putdown of JH at the end there (couldn't remember her name). And Susan Estrich looks better than she used to, but still looks like a harpy. Still is a harpy. It seemed she was afraid to take on Ann, Ann bested the Estrich and Huddy tag team without breaking a sweat.
bump for later
Sounds like more'n just conservatives agree
You know, if she really wanted to draw attention to herself, she'd wear short skirts and wear her hair long. ;)
(I love her. In a totally heterosexual way.)
Sorry, I'm a Juliet kinda guy. But I have to say, on May 22 I was on "Fox and Friends," and Kiren Chetry is an absolute DOLL. She was much cuter in person than even on the screen. Tiki and Doocy are nice guys, too.
She's gorgeous, brilliant and always light-mannered, with a big smile and a quick laugh.
In your mind, think of any liberal shrieker you can - and it's no wonder they all hate her ------ they see her through green glasses.
Um...that's what Ann said about herself this week. ;)
"Well, actually I haven't been watching it anyway because I can't stand Juliette Huddy"
Hey, don't be dissing JH. She is a seriously Low-Maintenance woman. ;-)
She is lovely, funny and very, very smart.
Are transcripts anywhere?
Hmmm. You're in bigtime company there. I have to say Kiren Chetry always struck me as very bright and attractive, but I wouldn't have said exceptionally pretty. Glad to hear it, not that it matters (to me at least).
I like Doocy, I always suspect he's a lot smarter than the dumb blonde weatherman act he puts on. I just figured out who Tiki is - yeah, he's great.
Mike (with the blonde hair) and Julian both make me crazy. I don't watch TV as much as I used to, not even F&F. But Brian is my alltime favorite, I listen to him on the radio.
What did you talk about on F&F? (if you can say without revealing more than you want about who you are)
And you can just see it in their eyes and faces, can't you. They are putrid green with envy.
Ann Coulter should be drafted by the GOP and run for president. She is the only person capable of beating Mrs. Clinton.
A very nice site, Micheel Malkin goes videobloggic and Vents, lots of video and blog links and such, some commentary on a lot of Hot topics..
Not as sticky as FR, but.. Pretty good overall. They just went online a few weeks ago.;-)
I'm half way through her new book and really enjoying it.
...Part way through the discussion, Coulter was asked by a fan in the audience what she thought the death of al Zarqawi would mean in terms of the end of the war in Iraq.
Coulter called his death "a huge blow against the insurgency" because now Al Qaeda must replace him...
-- snip --
"...Each person moves up in Al Qaeda.
The number 3 guys number 2 now. The number 11 guys number 10, and the number 48 guy is now Howard Dean," she said, looking very pleased with herself as the audience laughed and applauded.
"And by the way, I meant to say that. If you want to know if I really meant to say that, yes."
She's a great lady IMO.
I for one would have loved Ann (if she's not doing it already) to write a book just blasting Islam and blowing it out of the water and releasing it around the 5th anniversary (this year) of 9/11.
NEW photos and VIDEO!-- snip --
ANN COULTER on "Tonight Show" 6/14/06, and PRIVATE party with L.A. FReepers!
Here are some more WONDERFUL screen captures -- from Jeffers Dodge:In the LAST image, Ann is "double pointing" (mischievously) towards US......at the place in her interview were she was saying THIS:LENO: Lately everything is so nasty. And this would qualify as nasty, wouldn't you think?COULTER: I think it's not nasty.
LENO: No? You don't think so?
COULTER: And the other thing is, I mean, yeah, we hear this all the time about how civil things were back when there were only three TV stations. Well, they were really civil in the Soviet Union that had only one TV station.
I mean, this alleged disruption of civility is conservatives being able to talk back now -- through talk radio, through the Internet, through Fox News.
Through your audience...

That is a really cool thread.
I hope when Ann goes through FR she looks through that to enjoy the good things people have to say about her.
Very nice.
Not a second is given to how the widows (and their democrat handlers) have exploited their tragedy for political gain.
All they can do is chastise Ann for being mean.
This is exactly why the democrats use these human shields: to protect themselves from real debate.
Ann sure made Susan look ugly. WAIT, Susan IS ugly.
Interviewer: Ann, when I first read your book I also had thoughts about what you said about the Jersey girls but after viewing your several TV interviews I have found that what you said is so true. I have here several clips from many television shows where they actually prove your point. Here, let me start with this one from the Today Show with Matt Lauer.......

My previous book, "A Patriot's History of the U.S.," is now in its fourth printing, with paperback coming soon, and Rush interviewed me for his "Limbaugh Letter" last March.

Loved that clip and enjoy watching the bimbos and bimbettes wringing their wrists because "Ann is so mean". They 'out' themselves as idiots and you can certainly tell they haven't read the book, or they would be discussing some of the shocking and relevant information Ann covers that all Americans should care about.
Sorry Juliet, but I doubt you've ever even read a book, much less this one.
Great post! I love the comment about Howard Dean moving to #48. Thanks!
Linda is not coming back to the program. She was on maternity leave, but she no longer has a program. I am not certain that she plans to come back to Fox News. I liked Linda. I could do without Mike. Every segment he somehow makes it about him. Seems very insecure with himself.
Juliet is a nice looking little dish though.
My hubby thinks so too even though she doesn't read. ;-)
Here's someone else who likes her assertiveness:

Conservatives need to be as aggressive as Coulter
06/22/2006
I really like Ann Coulter. I've always liked her. She is beautiful and smart and real, all those great qualities men love in a woman.
I heard her not too long ago on Rush Limbaugh's program lamenting that she really didn't date much, that many men are intimidated by her, that they shouldn't be and that she'd love for Rush to let her announce that she's single and, maybe, introduce her to some prospective beaus.
Coulter isn't restricted by any boundaries other than her own.
What sets Coulter apart from many conservatives and makes her all the more compelling is that she has the courage to say what she thinks about liberals. She doesn't mince words -- never has -- and more conservatives should do the same.
For too long, we have allowed ourselves to be cowed by everything from liberal speech codes for school and the workplace to their double standards for what constitutes acceptable diversity.
It amounts to this: If you agree with their cockeyed view of the world, that's good diversity. If you're Ann Coulter and possess her world view, you're hateful and mean and have no right to voice your opinions.
Sure, she said in her new book, "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," that the "four housewives from New Jersey (who came to be known as the Jersey Girls) whose husbands died in the attack on the World Trade Center became media heroes for blaming their husbands' deaths on George Bush. . . . They first came together to complain that the $1.6 million average settlement to be paid to 9/11 victims' families by the government was not large enough. . . . These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities. . . . I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much." Neither had I, and I'm proud that Coulter called those "harpies" -- her great term -- on it.
She simply will not be intimidated, and the most telling thing about the criticism she's received for saying what she did about the "Witches from East Brunswick" was that nobody said she was wrong about them. Nor did anyone try to refute her arguments that they were grandstanding, greedy, self-absorbed leftist dupes.
For too long, conservatives have allowed liberals to define what we're allowed to to say, and that has been our mistake. For example, when have you heard a white Republican say that a black Democrat engaged in inflammatory race baiting is a fool, even when it's obvious to everyone that the person is being a fool? By refusing to attack, Republicans grant fools a legitimacy they do not deserve.
Consider usual suspects Jesse Jackson, who only Bill O'Reilly has been willing to take on by questioning the sources of his money (corporate blackmail) or Cynthia McKinney, Democratic Georgia congresswoman, Capitol Police slanderer and fool extraordinaire.
These are rhetorical battles that many conservatives have chosen not to fight. But we need to follow Coulter into battle against liberal attack dogs who would have us believe that they are exempt from attack because they're victims or minorities or veterans or bereaved widows. Has anyone posed for this picture better than Cindy Sheehan, mom-turned-anti-war-icon, whose son died in Iraq volunteering for a rescue mission that he didn't have to perform?
Decent, ordinary people also have a responsibility to let the liberals and Democrats and their lapdog liberal media know that they recognize and won't accept their tactics of distortion. Conservatives' electoral victories and the decline of mainstream media show that regular people are onto and are rejecting the "distortionists." But if we don't respond to their outrageousness with passionate, accurate counter-attacks of our own, we run the risk of not breaking through the information clutter.
Coulter understands this fundamental truth better than the Jack Danforths and George Patakis of the party, Republicans who couldn't mobilize a fight against the church of liberalism if their culture or their party depended on it.
Well, I hear Coulter's a baseball fan, and if she's free next week, I have tickets for the Cards-Indians games, and I'm not the least bit intimidated -- just an ardent admirer.

Better!
Thanks. Sorry I'm cyber-challenged. Good thing I write for a living, not post ;)
Wow, those are lots of nice things said about Ann there.
Very nice, she deserves them.
I've dated a very successful brilliant female lawyer who has some of Ann's attributes before myself.
Super high intelligence in a woman IMO is a massive turn on. It is fun to know the person you are talking to is brilliant, it makes you have to be extra aware constantly of what comes out of your mouth because she will not MISS A THING you say. LOL
Almost married that one, but it didn't quite work out and we are very good friends to this day.
Ann will be a treasure for who ever she allows to catch her IMO. You can tell she is good people.
I wish her the very best.
