WASHINGTON — The United States has found 500 chemical weapons in Iraq since 2003, and more weapons of mass destruction are likely to be uncovered, two Republican lawmakers said Wednesday.

"We have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, chemical weapons," Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said in a quickly called press conference late Wednesday afternoon.

It's being ignored because the left hates President Bush so much, they may can't accept facts.

It doesn't matter that Saddam was lying all over the place. The only thing that matters to the tin foil hat wearing left is propagating the LIE that Bush lied.

Logic says when every country thought Saddam has WMD that means Bush DIDN"T lie is a reality they don't want to admit.

As far as I'm concerned. It doesn't matter that the WMD may be Pre-Gulf War II. It matters that he lied to the world and said he didn't have something he clearly had.

The loony left is so invested in destroying the President and this country, they would ignore anything that proves Bush is RIGHT.

They could find silos with fueled missiles and nuclear warheads and the MSM would bury it after the cat that chased the bear up the tree.

They dont care about facts and reporting news. That is not what they are about.

They are at war with the President and republicans and US.

"Those 500 don't count - there were no WMD in Iraq."

Colmes and his lady guets pooh-poohing the whole thing as pre-1991 stuff which is no longer valid.

Right. but during the Klinton years the libs were up in arms over the chemical weapons storage depot near Pueblo, Colorado (I think) and how dangerous and life threatening these weapons were, even though they were from the 1960's or earlier!!

I'll guess!

Because it really doesn't matter?

If there were ICBMs pointed at US - that would be a big deal. But stmbling accross cannisters of chemical weapons that were known to exist in the early 90's is hardly a real threat.

Just an observation.

Theories?

FWIW, the answer is because: (a) these were defunct pre-1991 chemical warheads; and (b) it's been announced several times since 2003 that such defunct pre-1991 chemical warheads have been found.

Media Liberals are far to narcissistic to ever apologize.

Being numb is part of their coping mechanism. Their agenda needs a constant caretaker for survival.

Think of it simular metephorically speaking to the spouse of a drug addict or an alcoholic. If the addict isnt enabled the addict cant carry on with their desease which in this case is liberalism.

No doubt Saddam Hussein and his little friends looked foward to Rick Santorum's campaign problems in 2006 when they hid these WMD shells away in 2003.

500 artillery shells is leftovers, not a stockpile. Especially if they weren't all in the same place.

When they discovered "defunct" leftover chemical loaded shells from WWI over in NW Washington in the far left American University neighborhood (within the last decade) you'd have thought this stuff was too dangerous to be believed.

All at once the same stuff dug up in Iraq is "defunct" or "inert".

Same people doing the hollering though.

No matter how skillful, word games won't change the fact that sarin begins degrading after a couple months and under optimal storage conditions has a shelf life of 5-7 years at reduced efficacy.
