American presence in Iraq is more dangerous to world peace than nuclear threats from North Korea or Iran, U.S. Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., said to a crowd of more than 200 in North Miami Saturday afternoon.
Murtha was the guest speaker at a town hall meeting organized by U.S. Rep. Kendrick B. Meek, D-Miami, at Florida International University's Biscayne Bay Campus. Meek's mother, former U.S. Rep. Carrie Meek, D-Miami, was also on the panel.
War veterans, local mayors, university students and faculty packed the Mary Ann Wolfe Theatre to listen to the three panelists discuss the war in Iraq for an hour.

I'm confused, because I read it was Whip, but various pundits said it was for Pelosi's job, but there are many more Dems
that want it that aren't as mentally and ethically challenged as Murtha, so maybe he will get the job.
Did I say job? Position, really.
But I'll bet some southern Florida TV station has video of the "discussion."

GOP needs to replay Murtha's own lines to his constituents repeatedly in the election campaign. Can't imagine this sad sack POS traitor getting re elected. He needs to go and is the poster boy for TERM LIMITS. If he does get re elected then Bigtime SHAME on W. Pa.

Laz, I disagree the guy's insane. I think he wants a leadership position in his caucus and realizes he has to appeal to the moonbats to advance.
I agree what he's doing will hurt the Dims in November, however, just like their cut and run resolutions last week.
That is the problem with so called safe seats. Redistricting on a regular, instead every Census time, is a must to make sure there are more fair representations. His opponent is a real smart, gorgeous lady who hasn't a chance. Too bad because she has some good ideas. He by now is apparently unhinged.
