Dear Congressman Cannon, Congressman Berman, and Congresswoman Roybal-Allard:
Representing a broad alliance of educators, businesses, labor groups, civil rights organizations, faith-based groups, children and youth groups, and various community-based organizations from across the country, we write to express our strong support for the Student Adjustment Act.
You recently reintroduced this important legislation to address the federal barriers to education and work confronted by the U.S.-raised children of immigrants lacking immigration status, as well as the challenges that such students face in adjusting their immigration status. We appreciate your leadership on this issue and look forward to working with you to ensure that this legislation is enacted.
As educators, potential employers, and advocates of these students, we believe that the Student Adjustment Act is the right thing to do, both for the young people whose lives are in the balance and for the rest of us.
The Student Adjustment Act appropriately recognizes that these young people have done nothing wrong. Despite the pressures to do otherwise, these students have stayed in school and out of trouble.
This important legislation acknowledges that these students will be better prepared and able to contribute to our joint future if they are permitted to complete their education and work legally. In turn, our local, state, and national economy will benefit from their increased contributions into or tax and social insurance system, as will all of us who come into contact with these young people in years to come: the children they teach, the patients they care for, the businesses that employ them, the communities they lead, and others.
A particularly important feature of the Student Adjustment Act is that it would provide permanent, rather than temporary, immigration relief, so that we, as educators, prospective employers, and members of their community, can invest in their future with confidence. It is urgent that this legislation be enacted as soon as possible. With every passing year, our local communities and our entire nation risk losing out on talented students who are among our best and brightest. They are a resource that has gone untapped far too long and their years are not replaceable. These students need relief now. We, therefore, want to thank you once again for your efforts on behalf of these students, and we urge you to move as rapidly as possible towards enactment of this legislation. The realization of these students dreams and the prosperity of our nation depend on it.

The National Council of "The Race" (La Raza) is a radical, racist, pro-marxist organization which supports amnesty, benefits, and full citizenship for illegal aliens. Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA) is an organization which supports the revolutionary formation of the nation of "Aztlan" in the southwestern states of the U.S. Their motto is "Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada" or, in English, "For the Race EVERYTHING. Outside the Race, NOTHING."
You will notice a number of other radical and racist pro-illegal alien organizations as signatories to this letter. You may recognize many of the names of these organizations as many or most had involvement with the marxist-organized illegal alien mass marches in many cities last May.
These are the organizations which support Rep. Cannon and his pro-amnesty/pro-illegal alien views and voting record.
Great Post. If MEChA and La Raza(who are fifth columnists) supports Cannon, that is every reason to throw him out of office

The other two congressmen are DEMOCRATS. Cannon is keeping company with some real unsavory people, apparently. Might not go over very well in the strongly Republican 3rd District in Utah.

It is shocking that a Republican lawmaker(Cannon) from a conservative state would allied himself with organizations who want to destroy the United States.
It will be interesting to see if Utah gives Cannon the Pat Dewine Message.
Illegal immigration must be a litmus test for all political lawmakers. If you support HR4437 you will have a job. If you support a "comprehensive work program" for illegal immigration(which Cannon does)and have recieved support from Hispanic Nazis(which Cannon has) you will be looking for other work.
Tomorrow will be the day. If we can get rid of Cannon it will send a message loud and clear to Bush and all the other open border zealots who continue to trash our nation's sovereignty for cheap labor. I hope Tancredo runs for President in 2008 and maybe we can save our nation from Bush's plot for a "North American Union" and that disasterous "guest worker" program designed to destroy America's middle class.
