“GIDDY-OLOGY”
I have absolutely nothing against gay people. They have their lifestyle and I have mine.
I’m perfectly willing to leave it at that , but it appears some gays – and their new allies on the Left – have created a whole new Gay Ideology ( I call it “Giddy-ology”) to which , they insist , all must subscribe.
Those who don’t accept Giddy-ology at face value are said to be “in denial” , mean –spirited and divisive , hypocrites concealing their own sexual identity problems , troglodites , religious fanatics , prudes, right wing agitators, etc., etc., etc,
We are expected to nod in agreement when this researcher or that announces that homosexuality is entirely genetic in origin ; expected to explode in rage if someone suggests that youngsters on the cusp of adolescence may form a preference for homosexual activity if they are exposed to it for an extended period of time by homosexual adults.
It is, of course, “mean-spirited and divisive” to point out that homosexuals-especially males- have a well documented fondness for hebephilia (sex with youngsters between the ages of 12 and 16).
The Giddy-ological explanation is that the youngsters seduced in this manner were “genetically gay “ anyway , and that the adults merely helped them discover their “true orientation”.
Another “Great Doctrine” of Giddy-ology is Gay Marriage. We unenlightened masses are expected to “Oooh and aah !” at the scholarship of (gay) historian John Boswell, who-attempting to reconcile his orientation with his religious beliefs – discovered an ancient ceremony, practiced in the Greek and Slovenian Orthodox religions,and ( to a lesser extent ) by Roman Catholics in the Middle Ages , and announced the ceremony was an early form of Gay Marriage.
The ceremony is called “brother making” ( adelphopoiesis ) and was used in Medieval times to formalize treaties between rulers or former rivals. In the Roman church it was used as a substitute for the old pagan “blood brotherhood” ceremonies.
Very serious historians and religious scholars – some of who use the ceremony to this day as a means of getting quarreling parishioners to work together for the common good- have declared emphatically these service are not and never were used to commemorate Gay Marriage- but Giddy-ology has declared otherwise – and declares anyone who questions John Boswell’s clearly self-serving and erroneous conclusions is ( You guessed it ! ) “ in denial”.
Just a few years ago, Leftist doctrine held that homosexuality was a “disgusting Capitalist perversion”. Presumably, somebody on the Left noticed membership rolls were declining, and realized a minor adjustment of dialectic could bring in badly needed contributions .
Whatever the reason , the Left has embraced Giddy-ology and the Gay Community with a vengeance – and some parts of the Gay Community have been returning the favor.
One rather militant segment has evidently studied Communist China’s Population control measures , and has announced, when Gay Power becomes the law of the land , strict control will be maintained over “The Breeders” , to keep them from over-populating the world. Controls may include , when warranted , strict prohibitions against heterosexual activity . ( Don’t even think about holding a Straight Pride parade !)
Giddy-ology : Embrace it you prudish, un-evolved Homophobes !
First Gays wanted Tolerance, then Acceptance. Now they want Applause, and if you don't clap loud enough, you are hateful.
The gays have pushed about as far as they can go. Pro gay arguments are based on feelings, not facts. Similar to where the abortion thing was a few years back. Turning around on both counts, I hope.
I confess, I'm mean spirited.

There is absolutely no evidence, except possibly correlation statitics which we all know can be made up, that gays are born that way.
