Hmm... you seem biased against people without vision.

I love Ehrlich and so do most people in nearby Maryland. I hope he wins his reelection. He has done an admirable job at Governor and deserves our support.

I didn't see this information previously posted. If it's a duplicate, my apologies.

Maybe, but don't ya think it'd be a little strange if your governor couldn't see? Wouldn't being able to do things like read bills and survey damage be important? And of all the people Ehrlich could have picked, why her? He's in an extremely tough reelection race and he picks a blind running mate?

The RATS can't attack a candidate with a physical disability. This is great!

Dear Vision,
Well, Mr. Ehrlich broke ground with Mr. Steele. Mr. O'Malley has called him on that with his own running mate. Now Mr. Ehrlich is raising the PC stakes by nominating someone who is a woman, and disabled, as well. He gets to check off TWO boxes with this one.

Do Lt. Governors get attacked heavily in campaigns? None really come to mind.

Dear Vision,
Mr. Steele regularly had oreo cookies thrown at him, and was regularly called a "Tom" and worse in 2002.

He's a RINO. Has done a marginal job as governor at best. The only positive I can say about him is that he is less liberal than KKT would have been. Maryland is a lost cause....for now. I hope Steele runs for governor the next election.

Somebody please explain to me why this makes sense. Like Ehrlich's prior running-mate, this shows Republicans are colorblind, Vision.

Steele is great because he's a conservative and brings in black votes which for too long have determined MD politics. Where in the electoral county map do you see large amounts of untapped white blind voters?

I saw that ridiculous WP poll out today that has Erhlich down by 11 points to O'Malley. The Post questioned 51% dems, 29% Repubs and 14% independents, a worthless loaded poll. You should have heard that idiot Dave Shuster and his boss Chrissy Matthews touting the fact that Ehrlich, Jim Talent and George Allen are all in tough re-election races, it was nauseating.

That's what it says to me, just like his firing of the guy who called homosexual behavior deviant.

Dear Vision,
Hey, I'm not endorsing the move, just explaining it.
I think the Ehrlich campaign believes it will appeal to all the touchy-feely-squishy moderates, and will give him an admirable aura with folks like the Washington Lying Thieving Post.
I mean, heck, it's not anywhere near as bad as the things Mr. Ehrlich has done to suck up to the homosexuals.

Sadly that may be accurate for MD's political landscape.
