When are we going to start applying "the rule of law" to the media? Revealing classified information is a felony.

The leakers, including the media, starting with the NYT should be prosecutred, tried and sentenced for their crimes.

Will the NYT take responsibility for the next terror attack, which may have been prevented, if we could have listened to the terrorists conversations, track their phone calls and monetary transactions, but weren't able to, because AQ is now wise to us?

Believe me when I say this: If there is a terrorist attack in this country that kills or injures any of my family or friends, and it is shown that it could have been prevented by one or more of the outed programs, the NY Slimes WILL PAY!

Bottom line: If the Pres. does not go after these guys then the leak came from the Admin. for some political reason(Heaven only knows why).

The gall of the NY Slimes is unbelieveable. These people are the lowest of the low. I know how you feel. As a NY'er I am outraged that they seem to have forgotten the harm terrorists inflict on America, yet they seem to think they are our protectors.

I do not see your logic. These leaks have been going on for the last few years, and increasing in severity. And all with the intention of hurting the Bush administration. And it has worked with the general population.

Are you saying that all of them were leaked by the Administration??

Please, tell us why?

The House just voted to "admonish" them.

This is pathetic. There are laws, the NYT broke those laws and put us in more danger, giving aid and comfort to the terrorists.

House Approves Resolution Admonishing Publication of Classified Information

All the leaks have been common sense approaches to the WOT. The people know that, thats why the polls support the actions taken by the President.

Anybody in prison from these leaks? Not any that I recall. I would have thought in WWIII that 'loose lips sink ships'. Zero crackdown. Investigations, but no action taken.

When are people going to stop buying this fish wrapper of a paper. I heard that most news papers are heading for the dust bin of history, they are going down the tubes from lack of readership.

The Slimes latest stunt is a vain attempt to stir the interest of readers they are losing. Boycott is the word that comes to mind.

"the rule of law"; Treason? Federal Statute 18USC2381 ?

Would the Attorney General have the authority to bring charges against Bill Keller & the NY Times?

What I would like to see is the Bush Administration get serious about finding and prosecuting the LEAKERS!!!!!

For God's sake, is our government so inept that they cannot isolate these leaks??

Where is Jack Bauer when you need him!!

All the leaks have been common sense approaches to the WOT. The people know that, thats why the polls support the actions taken by the President.

Well, since you appear to believe polls (I do not believe any polls, period) you better take a closer look. That support for these appoaches has also dwindled.

Anybody in prison from these leaks? Not any that I recall. I would have thought in WWIII that 'loose lips sink ships'. Zero crackdown. Investigations, but no action taken.

Now this statement I can agree with. As I posted earlier, I want this administration to go after the DAMN LEAKERS, prosecute them and throw them in a hole to rot.

Go after the NY Slimes?? You should know that is never gonna happen, but not for the reason you give. Like it or not, inside the beltway it is a whole other world. The politicians still check the NY Slimes first and are afraid of the power of the Slimes (that is power perceived by said politicians).

So, I say go after the leakers and it may lead to the Slimes.

But, again I say to the Slimes: Anyone I know gets injured or killed by an attack that could have been prevented and you WILL PAY, no matter the cost to me.

The AG definitely has the authority, in fact he has the responsibility to bring charges.

I certainly hope that there is an investigation under way to find the original leaker, who leaked the info to the NYT, but charges should be brought against the NYT, because they were informed and warned that the info they are about to publish is highly classified and it's against our national securtiy interest. They were told before they published the NSA surveillance leak and the tracking of financial transactions. THey defied the request.

First Amendment does not give them the right to reveal information to the terrorists.
