Whatever he can make up to throw against the right.

MoveOn.org looks like it bottom feeds most of the time. Spikes of activity occur at random. Curious.

The other sites (DU & Daily Kos) seem to track together though DU seems to be at a lower average level.

All the Liberal sites seem to 'trade' in a wider band than FreeRepublic. Greater audience variability. Probably indicating that it is more event-driven, ie. the latest Bush "gotcha" story/rumor.

That pattern shows lower usage on weekends, higher usage on weekdays.

I, for one, no longer visit FreeRepublic.com

Frankly, the pattern looks like weekends are low-traffic. Weekdays, when people are bored and at work, are high-traffic.

Me neither. If you see my home page, you will read that I quit this place in disgust.

If you look at the data behind some of the points about some popular conservative websites, what is really being commented on are recent declines from a previous spike and not long term trends.

rushlimbaugh.com vs. alfrankenweb.com

Looks like Al Franken's mother is the only one who pays attention to him.

IT'S SUMMERTIME FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Who has time to sit at the computer all day, except liberals?

Exactly. If this organization were to be honest (or have a clue about statistical trend research), they'd go back as far as possible and show the stats based on the date (stats for today/month, stats for this day/month last year, stats for this day/month two years ago, etc).

There's a natural decline in all sorts of homebound activities as the seasons shift from Winter, through Spring and into Summer. There's a REASON why TV shows go on hiatus and into reruns starting in May or so - viewership declines because people have other activities that are taking them out of their homes.

I took at look at the Alexa reports for RushLimbaugh and FoxNews and it looks like the trend IS for viewership to decline slowly throughout the Spring and into the Summer. Not surprising at all.

My guess is that this little, intellectually duplicitious organization is just tying to "do its part" to help create the perception that Republicans/Conservatives are on the run ... and therefore convince Dems/Libs to open up their pocketbooks and donate to a "winning" cause.

That's essentially my theory too. Global warnming makes it nicer outside so fewer people are indoors surfing, AND it's all Bush's fault!.

What is "Newswire"? Are they Democrat Party front group like Moveon.org and Daily Kos? Sure seem to spend a lot of time just regurgitating Democrat Party Press releases. Look at May's Cable News Rating. Note this. The REPEAT of Bill O'Reilly's "Right wing" show beats EVERY program broadcast by Leftist CNN and MSNBC. "Right wing" Fox news hold 13 of the top 15 rating slots. Larry King, a Leftist gossip show, is the only one that even finishes in the top 10!

As usual, with libs and the left, they try to create a myth and then hope to push that myth enough to make it a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Notice the article doesn't mention that viewing of left wing sites is up. Also, th earticle fails to point out that ratings for left wing radio are down (actually they never really measured enough to matter) and that viewing of the left wing news (i.e ABC-CBS-NBC-CNN-MSNBC) is also down.

I think what's happening is that people are starting to tune out politics. Overall the media, particularly the NY Times and CBS news have been exposed as being too ideological to be considered "new sources". Look at the ratings for Chrissy and "sh%t-for-brains" (Olberman) on MSNBC. The reason for their poor ratings isn't because the country has turned right. The real reason is that they have no jouranlistic credibility.

Only until the American people, in their infinite wisdom, elect another Bill Clinton, John Kerry or Al Gore to the oral office.

And so it seems, looking at the Alexa.com numbers -- if they are to be believed.

Funny how the writer slips this in at the end. Frankly, I no longer believe anything from Left-wing sources.

During the past three months, for instance, http://rushlimbaugh.com traffic ranking has declined 18 percent.

Uh.. so has the NY Times.

(funny, they didn't mention that)

I work in a productive sector of the economy.

As such, we have firewall constraints on what websites we can access from our network.

Hence, no "hits" from me on FR during the day.
