The more people who see Kos, the better for us.
Wishful thinking by the Left.
Last count was around 2-3 percent of internet users have that toolbar installed. So even if the makeup of parties was 50 percent liberal and 50 percent conservative that means less then 2 percent of either party is even counted.
Might work for some polls, but not for most.
Just more leftist propaganda. Just cause they 'bleat' it, doesn't make it so. In fact, if lefties are 'bleating' it, it's a sure bet that it IS NOT so. At least, that's been MY experience. And yeah, the lefties are spewing this latest bs all over the internet. Whatever they can fool themselves with to make them feel 'all better' over their latest setbacks....and the ones coming up very soon.
So, many people log on to rl to listen via the web. Neat. Do you know if DeadAirAmerica also streams? The data seem to suggest so, yes?
They can't restrict you from accessing FR on your laptop during lunch hour, can they?
You can by millions of untargeted hits to a website for peanuts. Like maybe $100 a month would give you millions of extra hits to make a chart like that look impressive.
The very fact that they are citing such things makes me think that they are manipulating the numbers in their favor. It's like when the DNC buys a bunch of copies of the latest boring left wing book just to get it on the best seller list. If they didn't cheat, they couldn't come close to competing. I'm inclined to believe the same about these numbers. Sites like DU and Kos that offer nothing but negativity simply cannot be pulling in a great deal of real people. What is the draw? Come here and be miserable with us? While that may be a lure for a few twisted individuals, I can't imagine it gaining any kind of popularity with the masses.
In terms of the number of Internet users who have visited FR, looking at the last four years, significant increases were experienced throughout 2003 with the high point being reached in the first quarter of 2004. Since then, there has been a cycle of spikes trending downward. By way of comparison, moveon.org has shown similar cycles but with far fewer numbers of Internet users reached overall, as shown below.
They don't block out FR exclusively, but political "chat" (and other types of sites) in general.
I just don't see most folks in productive segments of the economy hitting Daily Kos or MoveOn from the office.
Fortunately, I can access NRO.
Bingo
I don't understand. The graph shows we have 600,000 hits? You claim that represents only TWO PERCENT of the actual traffic? That would mean we get 30 MILLION hits per day.
That doesn't sound right.
"Those graph lines may not directly parallel the decline in GOP poll numbers, but they are all heading in the same direction -- down." Correct, they do more closely parallel the decline in DEM poll numbers. This has got to be the most ridiculous inference I've read this morning. All MoveOn or DU has to do to increase their hits is to post something provocative and half the Freeper population goes there to read and laugh at it. This guy must really be bored. If he thinks he's discovered a trend or thinks he's an actuarial with statistics... he's dreaming. |
Could be we're seeing
internet pouting from the
libertarians
and other fringe groups
who are forever whining
nobody likes them . . .
I wonder if the author participated in some of those "I BELIEVE" threads at DU after the 2004 election.
Decrease of 24% of an absolutely huge number is still way better than a 100% increase of a number that is but a tiny fraction of the huge number.
Looks like she's flat line
I haven't gone to Drudge in almost a year. Damn pop-ups.
Really? Well, ain't THAT a crimp in their panties.
