Gotta love the fact that we have two different oceans, too (and a gulf, to boot!).

Wow! This is an excellent article, and thank you for posting it. The one thing it didn't mention is that one of our greatest blessings is our honorable military, which protects and defends those very freedoms which have made us great. BTW, notice how it is a foreign-born citizen who sees our strengths so clearly, while some of our native born citizens (I'm referring primarily to the dems, of course) see nothing but the negatives - doom and gloom, cut and run, all the way.

America’s founders knew they could not transform human nature...

No, this is the murderous project of the left, agents of Hell, everyone of them.

Any chance we can capitalize the word America in the title?

Well, for one thing, we capitalize America.

What are the odds that this article would be required reading in a high school? Of course, the kids wouldn't know who Madison was, nor what the Federalist Papers were. I, for one, am gonna take a copy of this home and have my teenage boys read it.

Baseball, pork ribs, comic books, a high school band, high school sports for boys and girls, clean air, clean water, national and state parks, the right to disagree and remain friends, golf, hand tools, music, the right to invent things and get them marketed, and the right to be a loan, if you want. These are some other good things, but mostly baseball.

Isn't it amazing that the Liberal crybabies who were born here, often with silver spoon in mouth, have so little good to say about America, and it takes the foreign-born immigrant to see the American experience in all it's glory and optimism?

"Two men look out
Through the same bars;
One sees the mud
And the other, the stars."

This essay should be required reading in every public school...and because of the idiots we have put in charge of them, it won't be.
