Grand theft Mexico
Guardian (UK) ^ | 7/03/06 | Greg Palast

Posted on 07/03/2006 4:18:41 PM PDT by Dane

As in Florida in 2000, and as in Ohio in 2004, the exit polls show the voters voted for the progressive candidate. The race is "officially" too close to call. But they will call it - after they steal it.

Reuters reports that, as of 8pm eastern time, as voting concluded in Mexico, exit polls showed Andrés Manuel López Obrador of the "leftwing" party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) leading in exit polls over Felipe Calderón of the ruling conservative National Action party (PAN).

We've said again and again: exit polls tell us how voters say they voted, but the voters can't tell pollsters whether their vote will be counted. In Mexico, counting the vote is an art, not a science - and Calderón's ruling crew is very artful indeed. The PAN-controlled official electoral commission, not surprisingly, has announced that the presidential tally is too close to call

Greg Palast is a certifiable far-left nutjob..... he has conspiracies for everything. The only conspiracy he can't seem to explain is how so many raving loonies like Greg Palast actually get paid money to write their tripe.

So here we are, years later, and they're still saying the 2000 and 2004 election was stolen.

Geesh!

Move on, no wonder they lose elections.

We've said again and again: exit polls tell us how voters say they voted...

And, as we've seen agains and again, Lefties will SAY anything to get elected. I wonder how many people in the USA try to fool exit polls by walking into any precinct, then turning around and walking out, and then answering an exit poll as if they had voted, just to give the appearance that their candidate is winning. Now, more than ever, the appearance of winning is more important during the contested election phase that will follow all future elections.

Yes, we always elect candidates based on exit polling not by actual VOTES.

Not more BS from The 'Assassinate President Bush" Guardian again.
When is The Guardian going to simply get to their one true destination in life, and officially become part of the Daily Kos moonbat site?
Don't see any difference between them right now.

I've only seen the same thing.

Calderon's PAN lead has been at 1% (+/-.25%) over the PRI since about 65% of the vote was reported. Calderon will win by that margin, unless there's massive Obrador PRD voter fraud. Over 98% of the vote is in, and the PRD would need to win practically all of the expected outstanding votes in order to win the election. What vote is out is predominantly from PAN-friendly NW Mexico. And the number of expected votes hasn't been matching the actual votes as it comes in because it seems that extremely rural or otherwise small precincts are the only ones left to be counted.

Paranoia, a widespread problem

"One in three people in the UK regularly suffers paranoid or suspicious fears,"

"They found levels of paranoia were much higher than previously suspected"

And they must all read the Guardian.

I heard a replay last week of Michael Medved asking Palast the same question. Of course he didn't really know much...Washington State is in Canada isn't it....nobody thinks your measly stolen gubernatorial election is relevant...yada-yada-yada.

Medved handed him his head after he ate Palast's lunch.

Palast is a classic definition of a mendacious reprobate.
