If, in all things, God is in control, why did so many people have to lose their savings?

Greed. Human nature - in all fairness back in the day every one thought Enron was hot property and made a killing off it. When it went under, they took a financial bath. All of which is a reminder, as is Lay's death, that there are no guarantees in life.

(The Palestinian terrorist regime is the crisis and Israel's fist is the answer.)

Because in the grand scheme of things, people's "savings" are unimportant to God. Do you think its His purpose to rub your feet at night and make sure you are warm and comfy? Stupid tag line you have also, imo.

I think you're not allowed to ask such questions. It's all part of God's plan, or so the story goes whenever such questions come up.

Seems a flawed plan to me, but what do I know?

Sue Him in your little court.

Cordially,

I'm glad you asked! I was referring to the death of Ken Lay and not what happened to the Enron employees, but the statement still applies. God gives all of us free will and the choices all of those involved in that situation made is what determined the outcome. Romans 8:28 says that in all things, God works together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. That does not mean that everything that happens to us is going to be good - on the contrary. It means that God can USE it for our good if we choose to let Him.
