I know for a FACT, that in our area they are doing a "survey" on what folks are being taxed at. What I mean is say, your total assessment is 350K for land and building (LB) and with RECENT SALES the LB is really 750K. Well, you're in for a nasty surprise. They are GOING to catch you up to the "market value". Of course it is ALL subjective. This is another sneaky way of equalizing everyone. IN one way, the naive buyer won't faint when they are "reassessed" on out dated market assessments.

I know ... BUT Bret Schundler didn't do too badly last time he ran. I saw that typically liberal areas supported him but not enough of them. I like him.
