I'm a Tiger fan. And while I've never had anything particularly against Phil Mickelson, neither have I been a special supporter. That might change in light of learning of Mickelson's founding and support for 'Birdies for the Brave,' a charity supporting families of soldiers killed or injured in service.

The article mentions that Mickelson's father was in the service - something Phil shares with Tiger, whose father - who recently passed away - was a career military man.
