That would do it for me, too.

Now why was Powell dining with him? I know, 'keep your friends close and your enemies even closer' but there is a limit.

I once read a study with over 50 or so people who were murdered, suicides, or died under mysterious circumstances, all of them associated with Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Do you know anyone personally who meets one of the these criteria? In other words have you ever personally known a single person murdered, etc.? MAYBE one person in your whole life. These are VERY rare events.

Powell should consider his two-timing dinner engagements more carefully. He should also consider himself very lucky.

"Former Secretary of State Colin Powell was briefly hospitalized Friday after he fell ill at a restaurant where he was dining with former President Bill Clinton and others."

The story should continue: "fortunately Colin Powell was not exposed to Hillary Clinton, which would have induced projectile vomiting on top of his wooziness caused by contact with Bill Clinton."

Article also described Powell as the "Chief strategist of the Gulf War."

He was not.

Schwartzkopf's staff was responsible.

Powell had the critically important job of keeping "Washington" in line, but the was not the Left Hook strategist.

NOt to take anything away from Powell, but it's a fact that the LSM will go out of their way to lionize him so long as he might be or become useful to the Rats.

Agreed, re Powell's role in Desert Storm, etc.

A close examination of this Affirmative Action Boy Wonder leads one to the unavoidable conclusion that he was a craven opportunist -- and at the right place at the right time, at the height of LBJ's full-court press on civil rights.

There were literally hundreds on men in uniform at the time that could have stepped into his shoes in a heart beat -- and probably done at least as professional piece of work as did Powell.

Of special significance is that Powell was not in one assignment long enough to reap the full impact of his decisions. In the Naval Service, such Commanding Officers (afloat) were called 9 Month Rape Artists. In many instances they would literally "burn an organization out" to make a name for themselves -- and be gone before they would reap the whirlwind -- the deleterious impact of their command decisions.

Suffice to say, I am not a fan of this cry-baby.

If anyone read "It Doesn't Take a Hero"; you will understand that Colin Powell was not high on Schwartzkopf's list of Military Strategists.

Kinda reminds you of that Anti-Christ movie about the kid named Daimen does'nt it?

In the movie anyone that gets a clue about the kid (the antichrist) and what he's all about will be killed in strange and suspicius ways.

It's kinda hard not to like Powell.

Amplification: He is a very nice guy. Very polished. Middle of the road politically, which is very conservative anmong the black ocmmunity.

There two kinds of generals: Warfighters and Politicos.

Warfightwers: Schwartzkoph, Patton, Abrams, Rommel

Politicos: Powell, Marshal, Westmoreland, Model.

You need both to win a war. One wins the enemy. The other wins the war with your own politicians.
