2 College athletes arrested in rape of 11 yr. old girl: Child Raped By As Many As 10 Athletes
AP BREAKING NEWS ^ | July 9, 2006 | AP

Posted on 07/10/2006 7:15:32 AM PDT by Main Street

The rape of an 11-year-old girl may have involved as many as 10 men, most of whom are football players at local community colleges, police said Sunday. Police arrested two men in connection with the rape Saturday night, and officials said they identified eight others as persons of interest in the case. Most or all are students at either Fresno City College or Reedley College, police said. The victim, a runaway from a group home, went to the Villa Hermosa apartments in southwest Fresno on Saturday night to visit an acquaintance who lived there, said police spokesman Jeff Cardinale. While she was inside one of the units, she allegedly was sexually assaulted multiple times by several men, he said. The girl then fled the apartment and sought the help of a couple walking on the street. They called police around 9 p.m., Cardinale said. The victim, who suffered no serious physical injuries, was taken to University Medical Center for an examination. Mackey Davis, 20, and Eddie Scott, 19, were arrested on one count each of child molestation with a victim under 14 and oral copulation with a victim under 18. Both were being held Sunday at Fresno County Jail on $100,000 bail. The rape allegedly took place in housing arranged by the Fresno City College football team. Davis and Scott were students at Reedley and may have been in the process of transferring to Fresno City, Cardinale said. Calls and e-mails to the Fresno City athletic department were not immediately returned. Calls to Reedley went unanswered. KFSN-TV reported that officials from both schools had planned to meet Sunday evening to discuss what course of action to take.

Wonder if these teams will be banned from playing, the media will be in an uproar, and "community Activists" will demand justice?

Wait, "suffered no serious physical injuries"? An 11 year old is gang raped by adult football players and she suffers no serious physical injuries?

Either she is extremely fortunate or something is wrong with this story.

Either way. prayers for her.

I suspect that there some pretty liberal use of the word "rape" but there's definitely something wrong with this girl being there with a group of adult males.

If I'm reading that right, she was doing a 'Monica', hence no serious physical injury.

There is something wrong with this story. Usually, sexual assault of a child takes place in a one on one setting, not ten on one.

It appears according to the local news report that all the perps were black and the 11 year old girl was white (she has blond hair).

We'll see how far this will go with the race pimps like JJ and Sharpton and liberal news media. We know that this crime does not fit the profile they want so Im sure they will ignore it.

If this turns out to be true, it's completely disgusting. These guys should be castrated before being sent off to prison.

And an 11 year old runaway? This girl needs some serious help.

An 11 year old girl cannot have consensual sex. Oral or otherwise. If the men used her sexually they should go to prison.

Pay per view. And make it tax deductible. Getting rid of scum is a form of charity. In fact, our boys and girls overseas are the most charitable people in the world. In addition to the gifts they give the kids and restoring/creating infrastructure for the locals, they give the greatest present of all: freedom.

Plus they also send the scum to hell and keep them from hurting any more people.

It means many different things. But let me ask you, with an 11 year old girl does consent mean anything?

Since the left has succeeded in changing definitions.

But let me ask you, with an 11 year old girl does consent mean anything?

Yes. An 11 year-old is incapable of it. It also means to me that if the perpetrators are found guilty they should be executed.

Um, this is STATUTORY rape.

Sexual relations with a minor under the age of consent. Which, except for a hillbilly state or two, the LOWEST is around 16.

Doesn't matter if they thought she was older.

Doesn't matter if they were told she was older.

Doesn't matter if she said she was older.

I agree. Although I think the age of consent should be lowered to 14, 11 is a child and she is incapable of giving consent.

And your point is?

The age of consent in the state of California is 18. Highest in the Nation.

These guys are toast, period, end of story, there is no defense, all the prosecution has to do was prove the event happened.

At that point the Defendants go to jail.

They do not pass go.

They do not collect $200.

Does that mean you consider 14 adulthood?

I hope that you are not a parent or in any way responsible for children...

Yes, it is California, but the central valle, Fresno included, is pretty conservative. I don't expect there to be much in the way of mercy here if even half of this article is accurate.

Meaning the laws and enforcement of the laws are completely different from each other. Take a look at all the birth certificates issued to teenage mothers some time.

Room. Shotgun. Father. 10 seconds.

But there's part of the problem. No father, not even an Uncle, brother or Grandfather.

If this was my (blond) daughters, or my (blond) niece, (blond) granddaughter, or (black haired) great nieces, some young "men", and I use the term very loosely, would be missing some important parts of their sexual anatomy. The only question would be .45 hollow points, or a 12 gauge shotgun."

Nicole Smith, a 27 year-old resident of the apartment complex where the assault took place had this to say:

"They haven't been doing anything crazy. They stay in the apartment. … I feel bad for them. That's just their life thrown away for something that childish."

The gang-rape of an 11 year-old is "childish" behavior? And she feels "bad for them"?

Hey, Nicole. Hang yourself.

.30 - '06 ... And I wouldn't necessarily start with shots to center of mass. And I just got a bayonet for my Garand, so that might get some exercise too.
