More simply put: If you cut a tree and burn the wood, you are pretty much even if you plant another tree. Even more simply put: Save the planet, kill yourself.

These music types are really Maroons I saw REM back in the 80s. The singer was whining about various greeny ideals and how we should all boycott Exxon. I left the concert early and walked around to the back of the arena on my way to my bus stop. There in the parking lot near the back entrance was a fleet of tour buses - REM's tour buses, all sitting there with their engines running.
That was the official end of my youthful idealism.

How is he planning to offset the CO2 coming out of every breath he exhales? And, while performing his heart rate goes up so is he calculating that as well?

This is coming from a 'band' that dumped 800 pounds of human waste on sightseeing tourists from their tour bus in Chicago. Typical hypocrisy from the usual suspects. :)

What are they doing to offset the sh!t their tour bus spread all over an expressway and the road below?

I love Dave Matthews (the band). IMO, their rendition of "All Along the Watchtower" is the best.
But I download all their music so they don't get royalties from me for nutty causes.

I went to a concert once because box seat tickets were gifted to me. Elevator music is more appealing than the stuff they played. But all of the drunk college kids seemed to like it.

They are going to quit exhaling. Six words, oh, now it's eight, oh no, now it's twelve. No wait, now it's.. Never mind.

The Dave Matthews Band may have serious concerns about global warming, but for my money this is a marketing ploy. I haven't even thought about the DMB in at least 2 years and yet today I'm actually tapping their name on my keyboard. |

burn a tree and either plant a tree or pay to have one planted.
