In a normal world, this would immediately broaden the conflict to include Syria.

Welcome to the Arab mindset of "talk big, but do nothing."

If Syria isn't mobilizing their Army, then they are just mouthing off Hezbollah-happy-talk.

We should just do what needs to be done. We may not like what is required, but it has/will come down to them or us.

This is pretty big news. For some reason, you seem convinced that neither Iran or Syria is going to jump into the fray, but right here we have Syria saying it's going to do that. "Our full support" implies military support.

No kidding, we aren't dealing with the best and the brightest here. I'm happy for the additional targets.
