Best fund raisers for the troops are usually held in November.

Just to note: Tony Strickland, who I saw tonight, unfortunately won't be able to attend because of family matters. Claude Parrish won't be able to make it either. Just about everybody else is a "go."
Yes, donations anytime are good and appreciated, but it's the donations in the ballot boxes during November that have the greatest impact on the troops and their families.
And besides... barbecue picnics in November are a little more tricky to pull off. Where's my umbrella?
