Prayer Request - Jettester Moving With family to Maryland

My family and I are moving from S. Calif. to Maryland and we are on Day 4 of our drive. We spent the night in Oklahoma City and hope to land in the St. Louis area tonight. We bypassed Clinton, Oklahoma last night as I was sure I would not get a good night sleep at all there! Please pray for our safety on the road and that our vehicles survive the drive.

I think you will find Maryland a lot like California. It is full of liberals. And even though we have a Republican governor he is not all that conservative. Good luck in whatever it is you will be doing here in Md.

Good thing you're not going north from Florida through Georgia. What with the never-ending highway repairs, three terrible accidents and the usual terrifying traffic and gridlock around Atlanta, it took me a full day and into the evening last week to get through the danged state instead of a half-day or so.

What a daymare.

I didn't know Waldork had gone bad but DITTO to PG, absolutely!!!!!

Waldorf isn't nearly as bad as most of PG County but it's no longer the town it was 20 years ago.

Are you from this area? Seriously, 85% of DC is perfectly fine, with gorgeous neighborhoods, I lived in one of them for 12 years. Baltimore is a great city, and there are millionaires living in PG county. Where are you getting your facts? Or are you living holed up in Potomac somewhere, fearful of venturing out, sending the maid to gather canned victuals from 7-11?
