what a beautiful story... i would never need to go to Snopes, because I know this is the true man behind the title of "President Bush"...

What struck me was that no one would say that the Leader of the Free World cradled a man's head on his shoulder to comfort him. No one would believe it if it were just 'made up.'

Only when you know the true nature of that man, and have seen his love for people displayed, do you understand that this is how he actually responds, and you are touched........but not surprised.

He is the real deal..........and that is a rare quality.

Why can't you understand that it was the man writing the e-mail who made the remark about Putin?

So, because you think this guy was mistaken in his opinion of Putin's atheism, you think this negates the whole story?

Or what? I don't get it, why are you so anxious to deny this story. It sounds like a lot of other times Bush has reached out to people in a very personal way.

Stepping into the Oval Office, each of us was introduced to the President and Mrs. Bush. We shook hands and participated in small talk. When the President was told that we were from Libby, Montana, I reminded him that Marc Racicot is our native son and the President offered his warm thoughts about Governor Racicot. I have to tell you, I was blown away by two things upon entering the office.

When both Racicot and President Bush were governors, they became fast friends and fished alot together.  President Bush has a fish pond on his ranch, and Marc Racicot has one on his ranch here in Montana.
