I was born during World War II, so I was too young to participate in the way our neighborhood kids did. They collected papers, collected pots and pans, collected grease, went door to door with war bond fliers and collected pennies for penny drives.

Without a couple of years, some of those kids were Marines, soldiers, sailors and a couple of them were shooting at Nazi fights from B-17 gun positions.

And I think, without exception, they would laugh at you for your stand.

You are darn right, children were a critical part of the industrial labor force in Britain and later Germany and Russia, and lastly Japan. People today think America was terrible for bombing entire cities, but it was a TOTAL WAR in which everyone, and I mean everyone pitched in.

As a Jew, I can tell you that the Jewish people have been defending themselves for centuries. These children are no longer children. When your lives are threatened and your homeland marked for annihilation, you grow up fast. I doubt there were children who remained children in the Warsaw Ghetto. All fought until the end. If the United States were attacked with rockets, like Israel is being attacked, our children would grow up quickly as well. Pray that never happens.

IMO, we can thank Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton for their helping create this disgrace.

Actually it's a quite healthy way to vent fear, embrace the concept of righteous retribution, and it beats another piano practice.

Stop the touchy, feely crap, these children are in the middle of the caludron of fear, yet, as you should ascertain from the graphic, they do not fear and proudly inscribe the tip of the spear.
