This is probably one of the most terribly disturbing photoessays you will see -- And Michelle's commentary makes it even more so. The anger I feel upon viewing this and reading the title and text of the review can only be described as seething. About the pictures
The pictures in this book are not displayed in a chronological order but rather in a manner that best illustrates a narrative about faith, sacrifice, war and martyrdom. They were taken while on assignment for The New York Times, from July 30 to November 3, 2003, from January 16 till April 1, 2004, from June16 until August 30, 2004, and again from January 18, 2005 until March 31, 2005.

Oh please! They whine and complain endlessly at whatever misfortune befalls them. They feel absolutely nothing for the suffering of others outside their "religion". They have no respect for the beliefs of others and lie endlessly about their motives and actions. For all their grandstanding about their religion there is not a less spiritual people on the planet. I'd feel pity for them except now they've involved everybody else in their web of lies and murder.

all the families of the victims of 9/11; all the families of the dead and wounded of all the wars with Iraq; the war in Afghanistan and all the families of the wounded and dead in Israel and all the families and survivors of the hostages in Iran during peanut brain's reign.
Then the "prepared" felons can be celled with . . . the most psychotic of the Colo prison population in otherwise solitary confinement.

The stench of the New York Slimes media empire is reaching . . . proportions beyond words. They are an assault against everything that is Good, Righteous and of your Word and priorities. I realize, Lord, that the global government must come to pass. And that many are and will become even more complicit in such evils.
But Lord, this is soooooo outrageous. If at all fitting and within your will, Oh, Lord, Please send your angelic forces to . . . remove the building and all evil workers within it from the public stage lock stock and barrel in whatever most thorough way would most meet your approval and direction. In our Lord's Precious Name, Jesus. Amen.
You know, Lord, I'm quite serious regardless of how looney others may think me. May my heart-felt earnest prayers and supplications regarding our Beleagured Republic be heard and acted on in your wisdom,timing and providence.

BTW, It appears that I'll be in dozens of . . . interesting situations . . . as you describe and more dramatic ones . . . when The Lord will remove me and send me on another mission by His Power. I used to think such was utter nonsense. But when a string of people unknown to each other and who don't know a thing about me other than by God . . . start telling one such things over a span of 30 years . . . I start to reconsider.
