"we actually have a situation in Illinois where, in the hospitals, a baby born alive after a botched abortion, where the nurse is standing there holding this living baby, separate from the mother, in her arms, and there is a practice of putting the baby aside in the soiled linen bin, or wherever, to just let that child die."

Do you actually believe that load of BS?

...Democrats have proven over and over again that they are on the wrong side of this spiritual warfare."

AMEN! Everyone has to remember that "church life" is part of the Black American Culture. There are many wonderful, Godly, Christian Black people, but, for black politicians and many black clergy, it's more of a "cultural" thing and a "money" thing than a "God" thing. They can, with a seared conscience, go to church on Sunday and shout and then do the Devil's work during the week, especially in the Capitol Building.

Because he's a MUslim.

Obama was born August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Obama studied for two years at Occidental College, before transferring to Columbia University. There he majored in political science, with a specialization in international relations. Upon graduation, he worked for a year at newsletter publisher Business International (now part of The Economist Group), and moved to Chicago, where he was a community organizer in the Altgeld Gardens housing project on the city's South Side. It was during his time spent here that Obama became a Christian, breaking with his father's Muslim faith, and joined the Trinity United Church of Christ.

Once a Muslim, always a Muslim. He converted to enter politics.

1. I've heard it from too many credible sources not to.
A source is not credible if it has no fact to back its claims. Where are the names, dates and numbers?

2. You really think Alan Keyes is a liar?
From the article:
"As a nurse at an Illinois hospital in 1999, I discovered babies were being aborted alive and shelved to die in soiled utility rooms. I discovered infanticide."
This, if it happened , is a felony. Did this "nurse" sign a criminal complaint? What is the name of the hospital? Name of the doctor in charge when this murder occured? Police report? Any verifible facts at all?

I don't know if Alan Keyes is a liar. He may be just a gullible fool.

This is why about 30% of self-identified evangelical Christians voted for Gore and Kerry....that percentage represents black evangelicals. May they one day take possession of the freedom from this bondage that God extends to them.

"A source is not credible if it has no fact to back its claims."

Absolutely wrong. A source is credible if it has a proven record of accuracy, regardless of what "facts" it may have in any given case.

I put "facts" in quotation marks because there are always those who will deny or assert anything as "fact."

"Did this "nurse" sign a criminal complaint? What is the name of the hospital? Name of the doctor in charge when this murder occured? Police report? Any verifible facts at all?"

You don't know much about life, do you?

"I don't know if Alan Keyes is a liar. He may be just a gullible fool."

Extreme skepticism is just the mirror image of gullibility. Both are folly.

Uh....we're talking Democrats in Illinois - where even the dead can vote. (early and often)

The practice of "live birth abortion," where babies who survive a botched abortion are intentionally left to die, is indeed a fact.

Bush even signed a bill into law, in 2002, to outlaw the heinous practice.

Yet even at least one Illinois hospital, the one Jill Stanek was fired from, had continued to leave the such babies to die after a botched abortion, as the press release from CWA exposed. There was even news during the 2004 Illinois Senate race that another dead baby had been found in the garbage of the hospital. Below is the 2003 CWA press release.

Is Christ Hospital Violating the Born Alive Infants Protection Act?

April 24, 2003

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Despite the recent passage of federal law defining the personhood of infants born alive, Christ Hospital still admits to being in the business of abortion but has become fuzzy regarding its now infamous practice of induced labor abortion, known commonly as “live birth abortion.”

Christ Hospital gained national attention in 1999 when it was publicly disclosed that it practiced a method of abortion that resulted in babies being aborted alive, and if aborted alive, they were left to die with no medical intervention. It is now known that the induced labor abortion method is practiced throughout the U.S. However, Christ Hospital was the first hospital to be publicly disclosed.

In August 2002, President George Bush signed the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which gives legal status and protection to newborn infants, even those who have been aborted alive.

On January 22, 2003, Illinois Leader reported that Christ Hospital director of public relations, Mike Maggio, said he had no knowledge of the new law. He went on to say, “If there is such a federal, state or local law, I can assure you that Christ Hospital is obeying the law.”

In an April 21 Illinois Leader follow-up, Mr. Maggio hedged by saying, "Christ Medical Center and all facilities of the Advocate Health Care system follow all laws governing the practices performed there.” He added that he was now aware of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. When asked if the hospital continued to commit abortions, Mr. Maggio said, “Legal ones.”

Pro-Life Coordinator of Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Illinois and former Christ Hospital nurse, Jill Stanek, says she has been told by a hospital insider that there may be some shift by the hospital away from the gruesome treatment of leaving infants to die without medical care. This is welcome news, but because the hospital still admits to being involved in abortion, peaceful and prayerful vigils and protests will continue to spotlight abortions at Christ Hospital.

CWA of Illinois joins others at a planned prayer vigil Saturday, April 26, at Christ Hospital, 95th Street 2 blocks East of Cicero (95th & Kostner), Oak Lawn, from 2:45 until 3:30 p.m. The prayer vigil will feature prominent speakers:

• Pro-Life Action League president Joe Scheidler, who recently won an 17 year court battle in the U.S. Supreme Court RICO case, NOW vs. Scheidler;
• Father Frank Pavone, Founder and Director of Priests for Life;
• CWA of Illinois Pro-Life Coordinator and former Christ Hospital nurse Jill Stanek who exposed the practice of Live Birth Abortion and was fired.

In the Chicago elections, Jesus will have plenty of times to vote for whichever Democrat he chooses.

ok, so get up and quit freeping and go protest, pass out leaflets urging troubled mothers to keep or adopt out their babies, or whatever.

on the other hand, "he who does not provide for his own, and especially for his relatives, is worse than an unbeliever." I would not have put that in the Bible if it had been up to me to write it. Too "selfish" to fit the rest of the motif. But it's in there.

The answer, for most, is "do both."

Jill Stanek has made a ton of money from her books and videos but has never named a perp or verified these left to die babies. CWA is a PAC, not a credible news source.

What has this got to do with how Jesus would vote?

We have ALLOWED the media and the Publik Schrools to dumb down three generations satisfactorily enough to lend to many votes for this "gifted" phoney, and dangerous pawn of evil.

They are the ones that get the news from a "drive by walk" past the t.v. set their parents had/have on the Network News and CNN,and Mess TV. Laugh at Leno, Stewart and Letterman, but drink it in.They come from a catered to generation.... and most are not interested. yep...Barack will be their guy.

I would go so far as to say he could take the White House. He is exceptional ! I see. Still, you should give some consideration to what I said about the Flat Earth Society. As their eyes tell them that the Earth is pretty much flat, irregularities excepted, extreme skepticism leads them to reject the claims of science.

"or Jesus Show."

I pray that one day Jesus himself puts on a "show" for you. He does that a lot, but skeptics always pooh-pooh it.

It makes me sick, the way some so-called "conservatives" treat Alan Keyes.

Sorry maybe you should take medicine for it. He made a macare out of Illinois Republican Politics and destroyed an election with horrid results. He should not be a spokesman for the Conservatives. Jesus MIGHT have voted for Alan and that would of added to his vote total of five. He is quite the disappointment. He is like Al Gore and Kerry. They lost the election now go away. I am saying this as a conservative, but I don't care about one person I care about the entire movement. If we have a guy who can't hang than get rid of him without further damaging the party. This country is in a very delicate state right now and if we are not careful than eventually the dems will win...We cannot let that happen and if some republicans have to be banned who act out and make stupid statements than so be it.

"Sorry maybe you should take medicine for it."

Truth is the best medicine, and you have managed to miss the truth of that election.

"He made a macare out of Illinois Republican Politics and destroyed an election with horrid results."

No, the dinosaur media made a mockery of the election, and the Illinois (and national) Republican establishment set Ambassador Keyes up as a sacrificial lamb, both to avoid exposing one of their own and because they'd been looking for a chance to get rid of him for a decade or more.

Dr. Keyes' uncompromising, principled conservatism won him the loathing of Republican Party Reptiles back during the Reagan years. Finally, they had a chance to send him down for the count.

The only foolish thing Dr. Keyes did was to accept the nomination. I can only presume that his basic decency led him to underestimate the malice of the media and the Republican establishment.

What really happened was that the media were allowed to smear Dr. Keyes with neither restraint nor any consideration for truth, and the Republican Party left him twisting in the wind, with no support whatsoever.

Damage the party? The party set him up.

A guy that can't hang? He should be chairman of the RNC, and the party reptiles that now run things should be put out to pasture.

Stupid statements? He made no stupid statements. He told the truth, and that always drives the media and party reptiles wild with fury.

You need to divorce yourself from the media spin on that whole thing, and look at the things Dr. Keyes actually says -- as opposed to media misrepresentations thereof.
