I can make it even more brief, yet JUST as accurate...

"Kill everything not Muslim... and kill some Muslims too."

There. Accurate, short and to the point.

I understand perfectly and I think the main thought to maintain is KILL THEM BEFORE THEY KILL US.

1979: On 1 Muharram AH 1400/21 November, the first day of the 15th Islamic century, fanatics led by students of the Theological University of Medina attempt to promote one of their group as Mahdi and thus fulfill a certain prophetic Hadith: "A man of the people of Medina will go forth, fleeing to Mecca, and certain of the people of Mecca will come to him and will lead him forth against his will and swear fealty to him between the rukn (Black Stone corner of the Kabah) and the Maqam Ibrahim." They hold the Haram of Mecca against the army for two weeks. Sixty-three of the 300 fanatics are captured alive, the mosque is recovered, and the conspirators are all put to death.

We hear all the time in newsmedia that Osama/Al Qaeda (Wahhabists) and Saddam (Secular Sunni) could have never worked together because of their religious views.

Yet, even the 911 report said that Iran (Al Rafihad Shias) and the OBL/Al Qaeda (Wahhabists) are working together as well as a Secular Ba'athist (Asad) and Hezbollah (Al Rafihad Shias).

This is what "true Moslems" think about Shias.

Actually the history of arabs starts in the Bible. Ishmael is the father of arabs and Issac the father of the Jews. The name Ishmael means "wild a** among men".

I think Mahdi is the Iranian president's favorite deity or demigod. The god of the well.

1258: The Mongols sack Baghdad. Death of the Abbasid Caliph Mustasim. End of the Abbasid rule. Fall of Baghdad, end of the Abbasid caliphate. The Mongol II-Khans under Halaku establish their rule in Iran and Iraq with the capital at Maragah.

Helen Thomas, a Univ. of Bagdad freshman, was deeply saddened.

Very good, allow me to post a little read news article from '04....

Sunday, December 26, 2004 U.S. troops uncovered photos of Syrian officials Unreleased shots show officials of neighboring nation with insurgents, ambassador says.

By NICHOLAS BLANFORD

The Christian Science Monitor

DAMASCUS, SYRIA – When U.S. troops stormed the rebel-held city of Fallujah last month, they uncovered photos of senior Syrian officials that have further strained the already tense relations between Syria and Iraq, the Iraqi ambassador to Syria said.

Several captured insurgents were found with the photographs - confirmation, Iraqi officials say, that some elements in the Syrian regime are involved in Iraq's bloody insurgency.

"Prime Minister Iyad Allawi wrote a letter to the Syrians saying he had the pictures but was not going to release them despite being under pressure from the Americans to do so," said Hassan Allawi, Iraq's ambassador to Damascus.

The ambassador said the photographs were found in the possession of Moayed Ahmed Yasseen, also known as Abu Ahmed. He is the leader of the Jaish Mohammed group, which is made up of former Baathist intelligence personnel. One picture showed Yasseen beside a senior Syrian official, the ambassador said. He would not name the Syrian officials on the record.

Also, U.S. Marines in Fallujah released a report Nov. 20 saying they had found a hand-held Global Positioning System receiver with waypoints originating in western Syria, and the names of four Syrian fighters in a ledger.

The evidence has triggered renewed charges thatSyria is knowingly helping several former Iraqi Baathists who are believed to be running the insurgency from Damascus.

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage has warned Syria that Washington is ready to impose new sanctions if it fails to clamp down on fugitive Iraqi officials.

The Syrians, said Gen. George W. Casey, commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, "are not going after the big fish (or senior Baathists) ... the people that we're interested in."

But Allawi says the "real danger" to the Syrian government is not pressure from the United States and Iraq but from the reformed Iraqi Baathists in Syria itself.

"There is an Iraqi Baathist invasion of Syria. It's overwhelming," he said. "They stole gold and robbed banks and came here. They have enough funds to keep fighting for 30 years."

Nonetheless, it remains unclear to what extent Iraqi Baathists are involved in the insurgency and what level of assistance is being provided by elements in the Syrian regime. "There is a high level of suspicion but not much evidence," a European diplomat in Damascus said.

The Syrian government rejects the accusations, saying it is working to stabilize its neighbor.

"Syria has always been open to all Arabs, and if they have the correct documents, they can enter," said Mehdi Dakhlallah, Syria's information minister. "But we can't read their minds about what they are going to do once they are here."

There are officially 250,000 to 300,000 Iraqis living in Syria, although the International Organization for Migration says the figure may be higher. They include former Baathists, businessmen, Kurds and Christians fleeing persecution.

Most Sunni Iraqi exiles openly profess their support for the resistance in Iraq.

Ahmad Dulaimi's membership in the Baath Party cost him his job teaching at Baghdad University when the U.S.-run, and now-defunct, Coalition Provisional Authority took power after the fall of Saddam Hussein

The Fallujah native moved to Damascus last year.

"Everyone supports the resistance here, Sunnis, Shiites and Christians," he said. "Resistance is the only weapon to free Iraq and free our prisoners."

Among those mentioned by the exiles as leaders of the reorganized Iraqi Baath party are Sabawi Ibrahim, a half-brother of Saddam Hussein who once headed the Iraqi intelligence service; Mohammed Younis al-Ahmed, secretary-general of the Iraqi Baath party regional command; and Fawzi al-Rawi, a businessman. The United States is offering $1 million rewards for information leading to the arrests of the first two.

Many Iraqis interviewed say they believe the Syrian government does not facilitate the activities of the Iraqi Baathists, instead blaming individual Syrian Baathists who share an ideological affinity with their Iraqi counterparts. Syria's regime is a separate branch of the Baath party that ruled Hussein's Iraq.
