Your response has told me plenty. A reporter who who doesn't get it that we are at war and her dictionary is missing the page with "traitor" on it.

"No room for anyone with an agenda other than gathering information to use in the defense of our nation."

To be accurate, she was a software contractor.

She had nothing to do with the real work of the agency, and may have never even set foot inside of the Langley.

I'm using a government computer, so the .00000000174 stone difference is close enough.

You are correct, Sam. I was responding to a post about about "leftists" and we were heading off on a tangent.

That reminds me of something I've always wondered about: Why is it that the concept of "close enough for government work" applies to just about everything except my tax return?

The key to this issue is that she was hired to test SW not write on a blog during work hours. Mischarging is a big no-no, especially with BAE (I know because I work for them also)

As tempting as it is to write on a blog and dialogue on food or torture -- we are paid to write SW and test SW -- anything else is cheating the government. So it is seen as misuse of a computer and we have all ALREADY signed ethics papers that say we will not do this.

As to need-to-know and releasing secrets into the ether -- this was a classified network -- the secrets are all still safe there.
