That is a great idea. Maybe if enough of us tell them how sick of him we are, his moral equivalence, his pontificating about things he is completely clueless about, maybe they'll make a change.

SHEP (PETER ARNETT)...exceptionally favorable and deferential to Hizbollah in his analysis.

 

He should know that his thoughts could and will be used as propaganda by the Hizbollah.  Shep (Arnett) should recognize that by expressing his point-of-view about the war  and the political landscape in Lebanon, he was undermining his role as an independent observer and reporter of the war from Israel.

Shep (Arnett) is working in an environment where the line between reporter and analyst is becoming very blurry. Many, many reporters are offering their opinions or their particular theories about how the war is going. Shep (Arnett's) case points out why that practice is so dangerous, and beneficial AS PROPAGANDA FOR Hizbollah

I saw that interview, too. He was basically attacking the Israeli pilot. Shepard Smith is detestable. He should be fired. Shepard Smith belongs at Al-Jazeera.

I cannot believe Shep Smith is presenting himself as competent to assess the IDF campaign in Lebanon.

On some days he's not even competent enough to look in the mirror and check out his makeup before going on the air.

He's done a lot of things that make it so that I can't stand him anymore, and his being in Israel is the latest - he was acting like he was sharing in the same risks that Israelis (all the while probably being within 15 feet of a shelter at all times) and yet when this is over, he'll go back to the States, to his fancy home in the suburbs, and not think twice about going to a restaraunt or a grocery store or even just walking on the street.
