I am always surprised that people do not ignore me when I do something like this. Maybe 20-30 percent have some comment (sometimes pro, sometimes con), that always shocks me because usually, I'm just one person holding a sign. I am not a celebrity or anything.

Our corner felt like old times last night.

When we started this in 2001, we would get large crowds but as the media has convinced many that we should cut and run, the size of our crowd has diminished.

I think we will have a nice crowd of FReepers at our picnic this year. Lots more interest than we had last year.

It has been an looong, hot week so I'll say goodnight.

Our A/C is finally fixed so I'm looking forward to a comfortable rest.
