Skip to comments.Anyone watching the FoxNewsette standing with the tank gun pointed at her head?

Rather hillarious the level of obliviousness. And odd to see the Israeli troops eating popsicles.
Please tell me you got a screen capture!
Wow, she really seems subdued for a reporter!
Wish I did, but I have not the means. It was a good report, just an LOL moment as she stopped to talk for a good bit with the main gun about 6 inches from the back of her head.
She was asking 4 men playing cards what they were playing and they started to explain the rules of the card game and she just moved along to the next group of men.
If you are talking about the one I saw earlier, I rather liked her.
Seemed to know her stuff; made Shep seem like a reporter from a Junior High school newspaper.
LOL! My fiance and I were just talking about it!
I just watched her and didn't notice anything. Darn. I'll watch it when it is repeated later tonight over and over and over and over.....
Shep has really toned down though!
Popsicles are kosher.
Thanks. I was sitting back to the TV so I backed the DVR up to see it. Not sure who she is but seems ok, other than standing with her head at the muzzle of the gun. LOL.
Was it Jennifer Griffin? She's been doing a good job and is probably very tired. She's cute too! ;-)
FoxNews is so on holiday all the time I can foresee a time when Israel recants, lets CNN back in, and expels Fox. Cya, Shep.
It would be hard to top the time I saw Heraldo in Afghanistan, at night, in a hot zone, in the dark with a big spotlight on him and about 8 marines standing in the edge of darkness around him.
"The marines here would not normally allow someone to film at night because the lights could draw enemy fire, but for ME they made an exception", he bragged.
The corporal to his left was thinking "Shoot... damn it SHOOT!!!"
ALthough now Shep is interrupting the former ambassador to ask about msulim vs. muslim fighting and Friday prayers. HE's being a bit of a prig.
Jennifer Griffin is a Jerusalem-based correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC). Griffin joined FNC in 1999 and covers foreign policy and breaking news from Israel and across the Middle East.
Over the past seven years, Griffin has reported on some of the most significant events in recent Middle Eastern history, including the end of Ariel Sharons time as Prime Minister of Israel, the transition of Ehud Olmert to power, the death of Yasser Arafat, and the Palestinians election of Hamas into government. Griffin has recently spent time in Gaza and the West Bank providing coverage of the Israeli Armys efforts to free young Israeli soldiers taken hostage by Hamas.
In 2005 Griffin was on scene in the Gaza Strip to report on the evacuation of Jewish settlers from Israeli occupied territories. Prior to that, she secured a rare interview with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and reported on multiple suicide bombings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. In 2003 and 2004 Griffin reported extensively on Operation Enduring Freedom, providing coverage of U.S. and coalition operations in Iraq and their effect on the greater Middle East region. Griffin was also among the first television reporters to arrive in Thailand after the 2004 tsunami. From there, she provided on-site coverage of the destruction from some of the most devastated regions.
Eskimo Limon (AKA 'Lemon Popsicle,' remade in USA as 'The Last American Virgin') is one of my favorite Israeli films! AWESOME!
Jennifer Griffin has the best news reports of all reporters reporting on the middle east. She is clear, to the point and without editorial. The best.
Bananas are cool too.
If that's Jennifer Griffen I would like to retract my criticiam of FoxNews on this topic. Sorry! Seen enough of Shep to just jump reactively.
She is the best ME reporter. Shep Smith OTOH is HORRIBLE. I can't bear to watch him.
I did not know that,interesting...., Is there a scene where they jump in the pool to get rid of crabs also?
He sounds hysterical to me.
Not hard to do.
I looked very hard for the report Jennifer did on the Israelis going into a border town and taking down a weapons cashe found in a mosque. She has reported on this at least 4 times that I know of. I searched CNN, with Ammanpour. She never, ever mentioned the removal of katyusha rockets, rifles, morters, etc, being removed from a mosque. I heard her report several times on the removal of weapons, but never that they came from a mosque.
Only when he's followed Jennifer into (or wound up in) some dangerous situation! LOL! I saw this when it aired hours ago and cracked up that she, in the midst of her explaning about something, would throw in 'outgoing' because she's clearly figured out she has to babysit Shep and keep him calm... He was hiding behind her the other day when there was incoming fire in Haifa :-)
Fortunately I missed that.
While I don't dislike Shep as much as a lot of FRepers do, he isn't the brightest bulb in the chandeleir; From what I've seen, a lot of their so called experts aren't worth their consulting fees, especially their Retired Generals.
Sheperd needs to go adjust his green eyeshadow and masquera. He looks like a sissy just to be there mugging for the camera.
That's just because Shep is more femine than Jennifer.
I hate Shep. He is such a drama queen.
Shepp showed where his liberal leaning is... on the wrong side!!!
My mind's picture of Shep has him with dark, heavy black eye-liner. And then the tube just goes black and only his whiny, hysterical voice remains.
Agreed. Did you see her the other day, when, in the middle of a report Israeli artillery went literally right over her head and she barely flinched? She stopped and calmly explained what had just happened.
The light-weight (but very pretty) Julie Banderas
Asked Jennifer how she knew when a rocket was about to hit near her and Jennifer just laughed at her.
Shep is just too much to take. I wish they'd left him in New Orleans!
Upon reflection, you are spot on.
She was sincere and comfortable in her own skin, Shep was more like a cub reporter filled with self-importance and assuming unto himself the ability to divine military strategy, geo-political dynamics, the Israeli determination not be be exterminated, and I'm sure, when he can get something damn cold to drink.
LOL, did you happen to see this?
Julie is great too. I saw her take apart a liberal, anti American democrat about 2 weeks ago. She grabed him by the nose and kicked him in the ass. It was a pleasure to behold.
And as far as being 'oblivious' to the muzzle of a gun near your head....
She is apparently quite a professional, and knows that the Israeli Tankers are pros too....
"Back in the day" I remember not cringing a bit when our heavy weapon's guys were firing close support a foot over my head.
Jennifer appears to be a gal after my own heart... I like the cool, collected ones.
I will try to find it then
Please see post #2
What do you think of Amy Kellogg on those rare occasions she shows up anymore?
You are absolutely correct. Jennifer Griffin is the most level headed reporter covering this story. Cool, calm and she knows her stuff. She is the best.
Now if we could just get Fox to send Shep back to the good old U. S. of A. thing would be good again.
Well she (Jullie) was really funny today. She asked, in a very concerned voice, what all those explosions were that she could hear. Jennifer explained it was outgoing artillery. After a few more rounds were fired, Julie finally said she couldn't understand how Jennifer could stand there with all that going on right next to her. It was a funny exchange. Julie was clearly freaked out by the whole thing.
Jennifer Griffin is so cute.
Anymore pics of her.
